Not at all what I expected, but in a good way. Rameses' wife was Nefertari, not Nefertiti. Other than that, well done! But I've seen several of the French docs on Egypt & they're all VERY good. I also appreciate the length.

some points to the knight templar: the black or brown coat is for non nobel fighters and not for fighters on time. These would wear the basic equipment of a lifetime knight. Also the rules of the knight templar based on the rules of St. Benedict, so no one is allowed to marry. Exception maybe the knights for time. The red cross wasent earned, it was the basic sign for the order and all fighter and nonfighter wear it from the start.

I watched this a year ago and I’m still finding new stuff again. 2:12:12 brought back childhood memories. I used to be my dad’s hunting dog. 😂 I would run through the corn fields yelling with my arms out hitting each row. I would hear the shot and try and push the stalks apart to see the pheasant fall. Usually my dad had to guide me in. 😂 What a great memory. 💕

Ok more complaining here, I cannot believe the nonchalant attitude of the man who said the bats would have worked in place of the atom bombs and prevented such a large loss of life… so the bats lives are not lives? Wow! Also how many innocent creatures died with those poor Japanese souls who also were the innocent civilians of their society.

I think it’s so sad that humans with power and position to destroy others never give a single consideration for the innocent creatures of the earth and then what’s even worse the planning of strapping incendiary devices to a precious creature is beyond disgusting! Perhaps all those who went along with such an atrocity should have had the devices strapped to them and had them flown over and dropped. To me it’s disgusting enough that humans are willing to commit such horrors on other humans, but for no one to seemingly ever consider the other creatures of our planet is an abomination!

The documentary makes it sound like Czechoslovakia was a willing Nazi weapons supplier. During WW2, all CZ territories were occupied, part of the Nazi “Reich”. For the CZ factory workers, it was more of a “do this or say bye bye to your family” kind of deal… CZ territory, being far from the front, was amongst the very last liberated, so the weapons manufacturing industry could be utilized by Nazis almost to the last day of the war.

Amazing series of a rural Victorian farm and what it takes to make a living using only authentic methods of that time. Hard and rewarding work, these people manage to bring to life the house, the pens, the animal husbandry, the wheat farming, and all of the real ingredients and food, that it took to live successfully on their own resources. Very well done.

Ok, so the viking boats are real cool! I love them. Thanks for great show. But the boats are wide open to the elements of nature, the waves and the rain, the snow and the ice, the baking sun and/or freezing temperatures. Not to mention that I don't see much room for supplies storage. Hum Mostly I wonder, since they are wide open to the weather, how did they keep afloat? How did the boats keep from sinking from huge waves and rain during storms? How did the boats keep from freezing up in frigid temperatures? Even though the boats are way cool, man is not above nature. There must be more to these viking boats, than what we found to observe.

This is not a very reliable documentary. For one thing, an obelisk has more history and meaning in Egyptian architecture. There is religious meaning for such monolothic "fairy dials".Leaving out details can make one credible when they asume the position to educate the public? No thanks. I like knowledge and truth. Not a mix of the truth with falseness.
