In November 1971, a man calling himself Dan Cooper hijacked a plane in the United States. With a bomb as a threat, he asked for four parachutes and $ 200,000. When he managed to get hold of the loot, he disappeared forever in a very conspicuous way.
Several years have passed and the FBI assembled a long list of suspects of being the ideologue of the only hijacking of air piracy that has not yet been solved in that country.

👀 Although the real kidnapper called himself Dan Cooper, the case is publicly known as D.B. Cooper due to a mistake. One of the first suspects was a certain D.B. Cooper from Oregon. Although he was quickly dismissed as the ideologue of this kidnapping, the press continued to refer to the case in this way, erroneously installing the pseudonym in the collective memory.
🔍 This kidnapping was the kicker to demand more information and to register all passengers and their suitcases before boarding a plane in the United States.
👤 In February 2021, the last major suspect, Dan Cooper, passed away. His name was Sheridan Peterson and he was a sailor who was fond of skydiving. He was 44 years old at the time of the hijacking, as Cooper witnesses testified. He was questioned by the FBI and a DNA sample was taken, but those results were never made public.

New things happen in the world minute by minute. But some of them are a bit difficult to explain: like a plane disappearing, an attack being carried out on a school, or someone trying to persecute an entire community.
Thus, day by day, events are generating new questions. While most of them find an answer, the others manage to break out of the norm, going down in history as great mysteries ... or, for now, as Anomalías.
