In March of 2023 I set out to thru hike the Appalachian Trail northbound. I filmed the entire trip with my GoPro leaving me with hours of footage. I narrowed it down to come in at just under 8min. A ton has been left out of this edit. However, it still captures the JOY I felt on my 193 trek to KATHADIN! The trail brought unmatched freedom from a life with Type 1 Diabetes! It was EXHILARATING! If you are a fellow T1D, just know this trail is very much hikeable while living with the condition!! You may just encounter one of the best year's of your life. My intent has always been to create a full length documentary with the footage I captured while also sharing my T1D story and how it affected me on trail. That doc is a work in progress. I want to tell the right story so I won't be rushing it just to post yet another AT Trail Doc. Until then, please enjoy this simple edit.
