I have a saved game purely dedicated to sims 2 families because I miss the families in sims 2 so much lol, I even made Kaylnn Langerak. I loved how there was little stories with s2 families and they had existing relationships and memories, I miss memories so much!

both Dirk Dreamer and Dustin Broke appear in Get Famous, its really interesting. also, they are probably super unrelated but i really like the idea that Lilith Vatore is connected to Lilith Pleasant somehow - i can picture Lilith Pleasant having an interest in the vampire lifestyle

Their stories are so intricate, and they tie to Nervous Subject and the Beakers, The Grim Reaper and The Smiths. Also, if you ever do, PLEASE use her backstory from the sims 2 psp game too cause that’s interesting.

i regret starting with the sims 3 instead of 2, the pleasants were my favorite family to play. in my (very brief) game mary-sue left daniel but i didn't realize the parent literally moved out ON THE SPOT when divorce happened, so i sent angela to try and interrupt him but it just turned into this super emo thing of her chasing her dad down the street while he walked off with a suitcase and refused to turn back before he was gone. she cried a lot. it was bad. 100% my favorite sims game memory, because it actually _meant something._

Fun fact: I thought Mary sue sounded a bit familiar, so I googled it. A Mary sue is "a type of female character who is unrealistically free of flaws", so she's also the exact opposite to Daniel in the same way that Angela and lilith are opposites.

Its so weird how in TS3 Daniel and Mary Sue are young adults, but Mortimer and Bella are children. But in TS2 Daniel and Mary Sue are adults and Mortimer is an elder. Hmmm

In my play throughs, everyone gets what they deserve. Angela and Lilith make up and become friends, Daniel gets exposed as a cheat and kicked out of the house, whilst Mary-Sue goes on to become mayor. Lilith and Dustin buck up there ideas, and Dustin turns his life of crime around to become a cop. Dirk Dream becomes a leading business. The sisters have a wedding, ending the pleasant curse once and for all. Mary Sue becomes the strong women she always was, her political advances not held back by a extramarital husband. Daniel meanwhile, has no choice but to move out - alone.

omg when i was little i used to think kaylynn was so pretty that i just kept letting daniel cheat on mary sue with her... i think i also made her have romantic relationships with don, and all the sims i created.. she really got around skdfjhsdk a queen. honestly probably my favourite npc in the game!

Every time I played the Pleasants, I would always make Angela and Lilith make up and have Lilith do well in school. I think I sent her to university, too. Lilith was my favourite Pleasant tbh

I've played the Pleasants. Mary Sue and Daniel divorced, though she still cared for him. Lilith moved in with Coral and Herb oldie and helped them till they passed away, she then married Dirk. Lilith patched up her relationship with her mom, and is working on a relationship with Angela. She's ready to let the past go thanks to Dirk. Angela married Dustin but they don't spend much time together because they are so different. I don't know what will happen with them. Great video

I love these family history videos! I saw something about the Bella Goth conspiracy theories a while back and I couldn't find much about other families that definitely have a long history in The Sims games. I'm glad I found your channel!

In my sims 2 Daniel married Kaylynn and they had a child they lived in an apartment next to John and Jennifer burb and John and Kaylynn had an affair but it was real love so they moved out together. Mary-Sue and Jennifer then moved in together and Jennifer went off the rails. Angela married Dustin Broke and he was like an actor in my game Lillith married Dirk and they had 1 kid named after Dirks mum Lol

I would love to see one on the Brokes considering how iconic they are as well in the Simming world starting with Bob and Betty :) The Pleasants are one of my all time favorites and I was so crushed to see that they weren't a family in TS4! I've played them a few different ways, where I've gotten Daniel pregnant with Kaylynn's baby, and leaves Mary Sue, I've had it where he's cheating with Nina, I had it where he tried to get with Casandra and Mary Sue caught him. What I currently have going on is he's having an affair with the maid and gets her pregnant, while Don convinces her to blackmail Daniel into giving her money to keep quiet. I also have the Oldies living with them to help with the discord with the twins. Coral is a neutral witch, who's teaching Lilith the way of magic hoping she'll use it for good but obviously she won't... her and Dustin have been sneaking out and I plan to have him get her pregnant (mods ftw) and then her parents kick her out and she goes to live in Dirk and his dad, only for them to kinda find out that i's not Dirk's baby lol. Yeah, I sorta love TS2, no shame ahahaha.

I think what would make the biggest difference for the sims 4 (or the sims 5??) would be bringing the story aspect back. I think it was lost with sims 4. I wonder if there’s a way for us to all let EA know how much the storyline affects our gameplay/love for the game? For instance, I rather them take a much longer time with sims 5 then rush it out to get new content like sims 4. I understand rushing packs, but take time with the base game and really establish the storyline, skills, and relationships.

I love this series so much! You do such a great job explaining the timelines and overarching story of the games! I always want to revisit the old games, and try to see all the things I missed after I finish watching 😊

These vids make me appreciate the sim team so much more bc of the fine details they’ve sprinkled in the games throughout the years.

My first playthrough of the Pleasants in Sims 2 both parents died within the first sim-week and I think that is the amount of tragedy that fits this bloodline so well

I wasn’t allowed to play Sims as a kid so I didn’t get into it until the Sims 4 so it’s cool to watch videos like this and see all the lore from before.

Tbh the video motivated me to play the Sims 2 again and it reminds me a lot of my childhood. (Started playing the Sims 2 at the age of 10 I think). I loved to flee in this beautiful world because the real life was hard. Playing Sims (and reading books) made my life so much better. Haven’t checked on my Sims 2 game for over 4 years JESUS!

I just discovered your channel and I've already watched all your time line videos. LOVE THEM! The Sims 2 is one of my all time favorites. When I played the Pleasant family, I had the twins reconcile as adults. Lilith married Dirk and Angela ended up with one of my created Sims. They left the parents to their own devices. I don't know sure how much history there is of the VeronaVille families. I LOVED playing every single one of them because I've always been a Big Shakespeare nerd. I would love to see a video on them all, The Capps, The Monty family, the Summerdreams(my #1)!
