As a Muslim i watch both Ramand sager Ramayan and B .R chopra directed Mahabharat.I also read both Ramayana and Mahabharata in class 6 &7 because it included in our textbooks syllabus at JNV. It teaches me lot of ethics and our cultralroot but know in the race making money we making Nonsense just use religion as commercialisation tools.

The script for B.R. Chopra's Mahabharat was written by Dr. Rahi Massom Raza. He wrote one of the best dialogues of the epic. One can't forget the philosophy of "dharma" in deep in the conversation dialogues between the characters. Specially dialogues between 'Vidur' & ' Dhartrashtra'. Those were different times not having these ethnic issues back in our mind. Very much missing that frame of thinking now.

Superb❤ review.Agree with all points - wasted 30 Euros. Few more observations- 1. Shurpanaka drinking in 🍷 glass 2. Raavan working as welder with his welding mask 3. Devils like Thanos of Raavan doing dental floss 4.Raavan feeding flesh (Leg pieces) to his Master Bat😂 5. Tattoos of Indrajit 6. Hanuman being called as Bajrang, not recognising Ram Lakshman at their first meeting and Lakshman asking silly riddles to test Hanuman’s intelligence level. 6. Vibhishan and his lady coming out of a shed with estrange and cosy look, after which the lady adjusts her saree over exposing blouse (this scene was not required) although Vibhishan is not main character but still he deserves respect 🫡 wikipedia also doesnt know what was the role of that character 7. Also , lastly Jambavant originally suggested Hanuman to bring sanjeevani but here in movie that same lady is suggesting the idea of sanjeevani to be fetched from dronagiri hills.

I remember in my childhood, I watched a Ramayan anime movie in a cinema which is still 100x better to what they made. But what's sad back then is that, that Ramayan anime movie was made by Japanese studio who did lot of research and even took inspiration from the 90s Ramayan TV show for their content but still our government banned them initially which resulted in releasing the movie quite late. But still the way they showed the epic and even the sloque they had in the movie is so much memorable till now.

There should be an online petition asking makers of Adipurush (Om Raut and T series) to publicly apologize to audience/cinema lovers/fans of Prabhas and Kriti and most importantly, to people who revere Ramayan, Sri Ram, Mata Sita and Bajrangbali, for making such a horrible, shitty representation of our beloved epic.

You have missed the scene where Ravan feeds the mutton to the bat(pushpak). Those who don't know, Ravan was the greatest Brahmin on the planet and was so powerful could capture the whole universe. Please read a good book by Amish Tripathi on this. This Epic character is shown as chapri in the movie. Shameful

I am feeling like crying for Kriti Sanon. Her hardwork was clearly visible even in those limited scenes. Sirf wahi ek character thi jisse main connection feel kar paa raha. tha. Bichari yrr. This is the perfect example of Bandar ke hath me talwar do to khud bhi marega dusro ko bhi maarega. Inspite of having so much of talented actors, Om became that bandar. Mujhe usme literally ek point mein Maa Maa wali feel aa rahi thi😢... The innocence on her face was visible. Shit yr om ne bht bura kiya. I will never be able to forget her role as Sita, it was magnificent even with those limited shots. She definitely won my heart.

The Indo-Japnese version of Ramayana was way ahead of its time. It's a 1992 release but still feels fresh. The emotions though it's animated, yet feels raw.

I a convert from Muslim to Sanatani, my very source of strength is Hanuman ji and calmness in Ram ji. They have ruined that for me. I chant Hanuman chali sa everyday not just for strength but for the deep love Lord Hanuman had for Ram ji. Even Ravana was shown puny king. Ravana who wrote Shiv taandav stotra?? The great king who had swarna lanka? He was on the side of evil but yet great evil. They could have used pure Hindi inspired by Sanskrit. It’s stupid to have them use such lowly language. It’s a shame!!!!!

As a Prabhas fan i want to tell the Problems with this Film 1 the story which was rewrite by Mr Om Raut sir after 5000 years of deep research he find out that Ravan has a Justin Bieber Haircut and his son is the real Flash⚡ 2 The Casting was perfectly unperfect especially Ravans family 3 The Moustache, ok let's assume that lord Rama was in a human form so can grow moustache and beard but I don't understand why they put Only the moustache he was looking like Ravan not Lord Ram , should have seen Ram Charan look in RRR. 4 The VFX, they spent 500 cr on this Film plus add 100cr for improving the VFX i am like aray Bhai... Even they have genuinely spent just 400 they could have made a great VFX but i don't know where they have spent all the money, Bramhastra VFX was better than this with a movie budget of 300 or 400cr 5 The Movie itself is a Problem i feel that they simply want to milk money out of people by using the religious sentiments

The major chunk of the movie budget goes to pay actors, at the end, the actual production budget is reduced to peanuts, this has been the problem with bollywood. This was a wonderful opportunity to make this a great epic, they some how failed to merge real life characters with animation like it was done with Narnia, LOTR, GoT, Rise of planet of Apes, with this budget they could have hired anyone they wanted

The two lead characters "Ram" and "Laxman" shared good chemistry and bond as brothers. The female lead looks pretty in saree and had great chemistry with "Ram". Villians look in the second half was odd. Overall "Main hoon naa" was a fulll on paisa vasool movie

This is not even close to the ramayan which I used to see in my childhood, in dd national and the animated movie. They not only messed up which terrible cgi, but also with poor dialogues. We can't recommend this movie to any foreigner who don't know about our mythology. This movie is like a school project, completed in last minute. This movie should not exist.
