Mario Galaxy 2 was one of my favorite mario games, I really need to replay it at some point. Also at 11:23, here's something to try: when you go on the teleporter, try to get Yoshi to lick the toad right as you go on. You'll see why

And another thing to try, momentum. Like when a thwomp is lifting up, do a long jump or backflip to gain much more height than before
