I do actually like that idea though. If there's only one exit why wouldn't you just go wait there? Of course, in real life, unlike videos, you can always *make* an exit.

my other thought, cause I think either way it would be obvious, is that he normally tries to separate them before he kills them, and is known to play with his food and give them many chances to run meaning he saw them but pretended not to so he could kill Charlie and keep mark alive to be the ferryman.

TBF I think that’s more realistic than the countless times in movies a fear of something stops people getting to safety. His fear of heights was perhaps something he felt he could get over when confronted with the current situation. Earlier on though, before the killing, there was some silly behaviour I’ll grant you.

For me, these games are a lot like _Resident Evil_ or _Silent Hill_ or even _The Last of Us_ in being the type of game where I grew up with friends who were really into them and I'd hang out and had fun watching while they played them, but never had any interest in playing them myself. The same is true of most horror movies in that I enjoy watching them with people who really like horror films, but don't really find them enticing to spend just my own time on. It's why I'm grateful for videos like this being a thing, since I'd never end up experiencing these games otherwise. It's a nice balance to being super into a lot of the other types of games that Tom plays in wanting to play them myself.
