Put on a dress you like and feel comfortable in/get dressed, fix up, make the bed, do a load of laundry, do dishes, tidy bathroom, plan dinner, put laundry away. -adopt 10 minute tidy, more for more people -have a clutter limit to maintain your space I'm enjoying this series. 💐

This was awesome! I started watching this video with a messy house and still in my robe 🥴, and with each task you mentioned, I would pause the video, go and do that thing, and then play the video again for the next step. Now, I am ready to go for the day, my house is much better, and I know what I'm making for dinner - all while my baby napped ❤️ I just needed some guidance, thank you.

Your home is beautiful, Nikki! What a clean welcoming house to present to friends and family. Our home is a place of 5 businesses, home education, ministry and workout. Everyone’s home is going to look different depending on what multitasking happens there 24/7. Proverbs 31 woman had such a busy home full of industry, cooking/baking, education and more. May we all follow God’s purpose for our individual home.

Thank you, Julie! No two homes are alike, that's for sure and by the same token, each woman and her strengths differ. Something that stood out to me about the Proverbs 31 woman is that she was able to manage all that she did and had going on. It's unfortunate how so many women today feel overwhelmed and trapped. This ought not be. I'm hoping my videos will inspire them to step into the role God gave them and understand how He made them capable of managing their own homes well.

This was such a good video! I really love this series and am looking forward to the rest of the videos. As a young married mom (23) of two, I sometimes feel like I’m running around aimlessly since I didn’t have much of an example for how to keep a home and tend to it. This is so helpful.

Beautiful inside and out is a good choice. I have always gravitated towards classic styles. Classic styles allows YOU to change around it and not have the styles/trends change you. Loved the floral paper intro background and the balanced composition of the shot in front of the spectacular China Closet. I am praying more Ladies see this video and join this beautiful Family. I am feeling such a sense of delight and confidence now because I have really gotten these habits into my routine the past couple years, and I am going to be 34 next month! I make the master bed every morning. The days where something comes up and I miss it, it feels like the day was off! I also get laundry going every day (I have 4 kids). I have been enlisting my children (ages 8-2) to help out their toys away. We are getting better a decluttering. And it’s so true, “there’s something about having your meal planned that puts a lady’s mind at ease”. 👏🏻💖

Very good video, Nikki. There’s nothing to compare with the satisfying feeling of a tidy home. In keeping it tidy, it lightens the workload when cleaning.b The lady of the house deserves a warm welcoming environment as well as her family. Kitchen and bathrooms are my basic tidy ups because they are rooms that my guests will most likely see. The living room is included , but doesn’t need the wipe downs that the other rooms do. Bedroom doors can be closed. ; ) Thanks for your kind thoughtfulness in creating such videos for those seeking such information. I like them because homemaking is my world and has been for years. It’s my happy place . Best wishes to you and yours.

HAPPY FRIDAY Nikki, family, and all the fur babies. OUR home is not where children can come to play. Our grandbabies found out from pappap. HOWEVER, they do have lot's of places to play, down in the gameroom/laundry area. We have a lot of property around our home. They are allowed all they want in the major living space if they want to be taught/learn how to play Chess, or we play family games and of course all the food. They love it over here, which makes our hearts happy. Thanks for all the tips Nikki. Paraphrasing GOD'S WORD: The older women are to teach the younger girls and the older men are to teach the younger men. STTB

Perhaps a dress or long winter skirt (woolly) on top of warm clothes (leggings for example). 🤔

Hello Nikki, that's a great video again, Thank you. For myself, i have my home on 2 floors, so i always begin with the first floor as it 's the more epic one, big family room with fire place , and kitchen, and a little bathroom, on the 2nd floor, bedroom and large bathroom/ laudry, there much more neat than the 2 others, so for me it 's seems to have done the hard work first, then the bedroom and bathroom are just easier for me, is that wrong ? the only thing i do, is to put the laundry running when i start with the 1st floor. I do so much agree we need beauty in all ways in this world..That world is so hard and rude by now, thank you so much for bringing some loveliness in this world and in my everyday life Nikki , sending Love and Respect 🌹

If you have a system you are happy with that works for you, definitely don’t change it. I say begin in the bedroom because it is easy, you are already there and when you come back to the space it is as peaceful as when you left it. I talk more about this in today’s video.

Thank you! I try to get to bed early each night, usually between 8-9pm. I wake up around 4am but no later than 5am. Some mornings I can’t sleep past 3:30am. Those are the days I have my best ideas and have to get up and work them out.

I have a very sincere question…with your beautiful dresses, how do you deal with stains? Especially when wearing lighter colors…even with wearing an apron I still worry greatly about stains when doing household chores especially in the kitchen.

A lot of the dresses I wear tend to be polyester so they don't stain like linen or cotton would and I keep that in mind when I'm going to be using certain products. If I'm using bleach when wearing such dresses I'm very careful but aprons are the best way I have found to keep my other dresses free of stains. If you get a stain, treat it right away. Remember that your dresses are there to serve you.

If I am remembering correctly, I think she has mentioned that if rugs or mats are on the floor, unfortunately, her dogs will go to the bathroom on them :-(

Stacy remembered correctly, my dogs will do their business on the rugs. I have small ones in my bathroom and they usually don't go in there. If that weren't the case though, I'd love some beautiful large rugs!
