Fun fact: this wasn’t a story Lovecraft made up, it’s actually a nightmare he had in real life which he recorded after he woke up. It’s fun listening to these, I used work with someone who a card-carrying member of the HP Lovecraft Historical Society (literally, he had a card in his wallet) and he introduced me to Lovecraft. Back in those ancient days (around 2018) I didn’t have Robin Reads so I had to listen to other people’s recordings. 😂
