I would like to mention that at the top of Tinkaton's hammer, there seems to be something that resembles a sextant, an "instrument for determining the angle between the horizon and a celestial body such as the Sun, the Moon, or a star, used in celestial navigation to determine latitude and longitude." Two thing I would like to point out, not only the Tinka line is responsible for taking out the Taxi Service of Corviknight, but also is partially responsible for Kingambit, Tinkatuff hunts down Pawniard and Bishard (groups of pokemon, I thought you were going there with your last point in the video). And also, while the meme of Tinkaton Bullying Corviknight is funny, most people miss the part is a "daring" disposition, is not easy for them, is a challenge, that is why they do it.

Well, I'd assume that Corviknight has squishy insides underneath all its metal feathers. Not too far-fetched of an idea to say that the prey they use for materials for their hammers is also the prey they use for food.

I didn't expect Lockstin to talk about the "Martxoak 3 / 3 de Marzo / 3rd of March" incident in Spain, I live next to the church were everything happened and my grandmother was able to view everything from our balcony. It was a slaughter from which "luckily" only 5 people died, while having 150+ wounded, in a country where usage of fire arms was pretty rare. Tensions were pretty high, the incident took place in a city of the Basque Country which had our Basque culture stripped from while the dictatorship of Franco. Civilians were already tense with the government and factory owners were pushing workers way to hard. The workers organized a formal strike barricading inside a church and the police abused a loophole in the law about the property of the church and being an occupation of a private, government owned place. The higher ups ordered policemen to open fire but even common policemen knew it was a masacre so most aimed to wound and not to kill, even when they were ordered to shoot to kill. The injuries registered (around 150) are only about gunfire injuries, many people who even weren't part of the strike were brutally beaten up by policemen who didn't want to use their gun. A friend's grandfather lost his leg due to a beat down, and if you ask around many people have some anecdote about that day. It's an event which still has marked the history of the city until this day, but through violence and blood we now can live with worker rights. To this day there's an association and many political rallies are held on March 3rd, to commemorate and ask for fairer treatment of workers

So if Tinkaton’s hammer weighs over *220 pounds* as mentioned in its Violet Dex entry, that is quite heavy… But the thing is the Scarlet entry for Talonflame states it can carry prey over *220 pounds* … … O_O Well…large birds of prey like eagles can carry heavy prey like monkeys or foxes. Roid a falcon up into a Phoenix and that puts faeries on the menu. And of course there are legends of birds of prey carrying people off to eat. So a short, fairy-lady seems plausible for consumption.
@MunchKING
@MunchKING Жыл бұрын
The thing is the whole Tinkaton weighs 247 pounds, and the hammer weighs "Over 220 pounds". Then that means Tinkaton itself only weighs somewhere around 20-27 pounds, and is swinging around a hammer 11 TIMES as heavy as itself like it's no big deal.

Bonus points in Spanish lore: There was a report from an helicopter being taken down after a man who thought the engine was too loud and flying too low take the vehicle down with a stone which got stuck in the tail rotor. The case was never closed since it was the words of one man against the other's thus the myth of the spanish man taking a helicopter down with a stone being why Tinkaton takes the Corviknights down with a stone - given how Corvs are like the helicopters of human transport.

The Mouros part of the inspiration got me thinking. What if there were male Tinkaton that instead of crafting a giant hammer, they used their crafting skill to create a more refined weapon? Like a sniper rifle, because why not? Male and female Tinkaton hunt as a duo, with the hammer-swinging girlboss doing what she does best, while the other picks off the stragglers from afar. The tag team is so effective that Paldea is starting to face a steel type shortage in some areas. Give it a signature move, a special steel type attack that either crits more often or is super effective against steel types.

YES I knew as soon as I saw her that it could be based on a mouro, the only thing missing was the coal covered skin. Also I was surprised by the fact that unlike other videos of the channel you pointed out that the Mouros where from north portugal, galicia and asturias. Asturias is really small compared to other autonomous communities and we often get left out when people from outside the country do this kind of research. I know this may be weird to suggest but for an foreigner to get better info from wikipedia and other sources you should try searching the articles in spanish and then use autotranslate. The spanish articles contain WAY more info about those creatures and another ones that dont get even mentioned in the english ones. Just look at the asturian myths page as an example. The whole north of spain and portugal has loads of myths and legends that few people outside th country know about. Very ancient sites, and a whole lots of stories to tell.

The only thing that stinks about Tinkaton is that its attack stat it way too low. For how ferocious it is, is should really have a high attack stat, but it just doesn't for some reason. Gigaton hammer is super powerful, but you practically need to max out its attack stat to really make it worthwhile. Maybe also specifically an attack that is good against corvoknight specifically, like a rock move that is super effective against steel or something. But overall I still love it, core member of my team the entire game.
