@@entertext783 well no because some tanks are not ment to be fighting other tanks they can but they don't tank destroyers are made specifically an only for the role to absolutely demolish other tanks thats why most tank destroyers have extremely powerful weaponry like ATGMS with ton shit of pen and 152MM canons or even 380mm rockets Wich is basically artillery. While light tanks heavy tanks and medium tanks have other main roles apart from fighting enemy tanks. Not all tanks have the specific role of fighting other tanks the reason why tank destroyers are basically not a thing anymore it's because tank on tank combat way less common these days.

Sorry for nerding a bit but; The LVT is not a light tank, it may be classed as a light tank, but realistically it's not even a tank at all. The LVT stands for Landing Vehicle, Tracked and was used by the americans during WW2 for landings.
