Revlon's Black Cherry is my favorite red lipstick of all time. Still one of the prettiest red lipsticks.

Great line that of Revlon. However, black cherry is way too dark for me... But the quality is great of all the brand.

@@Elojoquetodolove086 I love it because, it totally works with my complexion which I am medium olive, but I can totally understand if it is too dark for you to wear. Also, I love red lipsticks that are more burgundy it is a true burgundy.

I love that fact about Elizabeth Arden. The red lipstick was like the pink knit cat ears hat of it's time! I own a tube of Red Door Red, and I only wear it on special occasions. Most of the time, I just wear lip balm or a clear lip gloss.

Elizabeth had smallpox in 1562 at the age of 32, and died in March 1603 at 69. She must have been one tough cookie. That was a good age in those times, even with that awful makeup taking its toll on her
