THE EXPENDABLES are back and this time it's personal...
Barney Ross (Sylvester Stallone), Lee Christmas (Jason Statham), Yin Yang (Jet Li), Gunnar Jensen (Dolph Lundgren),Toll Road (Randy Couture) and Hale Caesar (Terry Crews) -- with newest members Billy the Kid (Liam Hemsworth) and Maggie (Yu Nan) aboard -- are reunited when Mr. Church (Bruce Willis) enlists the Expendables to take on a seemingly simple job. The task looks like an easy paycheck for Barney and his band of old-school mercenaries. But when things go wrong and one of their own is viciously killed, the Expendables are compelled to seek revenge in hostile territory where the odds are stacked against them. Hell-bent on payback, the crew cuts a swath of destruction through opposing forces, wreaking havoc and shutting down an unexpected threat in the nick of time - six tons of weapons-grade plutonium; enough to change the balance of power in the world. But that's nothing compared to the justice they serve against the villainous adversary who savagely murdered their brother.

The way we see it and Stallone is different. I feel like he tries to make the cast all seem like regular characters. As for us we all fucking see each of them as major heroes or characters all in 1 time. But I do feel that there wasn't enough screen time for everyone like you said. He kind of needs to equal it all out like how makers of The Avengers did, like give everyone their part

Yeah true, like the first movie. It was all based on Sly's, Statham and Li's character. Everyone else just seems to be there for "show". Know what I mean? But Exp2 seems like its all on Sly and the other characters that weren't even part of the first movie now

Dude, I don't see Jet Li in this movie at all! In all the trailers, I only see him one time throughout the whole thing. Makes it pretty obvious that he's going to be the one to die Dx But I'm still hoping for a turn up and it wont be him! D:

Did you guys see the video of the stunt double that got killed while filming. CRAZY. I found the entire movie in HD and the video of the accident at Motivativ(dot)Net . WOW

Oh yeah, I know that but I'm just saying that they're not giving him any credit for his part in the movie at all. It's like they literally made him Expendable lol

I thought because this film has a larger casting, they might extend the running time at least longer than its previous . But I checked on IMDB and Wikipedia and its running time is 102 minutes. That's only a hour and a half ! Same as the first film. If it was a longer film at least 140 minutes or more, that would have been enough time to give everybody a major part. I don't think this film will do that. Not in 102 minutes. I bet their going make it look more like cameo's for them.

I have a feeling they did the same thing with Dolph Lundgren as he was hardly shown speaking in any of the scenes of the trailers. Come to think of it, I don't think all these guys are going have enough screen time. The first movie was bad enough when it came down to having screen time. Now they overloaded the casting even more. And the films running time is only 102 min !!! NOT ENOUGH !!!
