At the age of 19, I bought Ayaan’s first book, my father found the book even though I tried to hide it well. It was like the beginning of the end and so many conflicts happened because of a BOOK that I yet had to explore!!!!! Best choice I’ve ever made. I love Ayaan with all of my heart!!!

Free Thinker no she's not. Any educated individual cites their sources and backs their claims with evidence. This Ayaan CLEARLY knows nothing about the history and spread of Islam, nor has any credentials to speak on the matter. All she speaks of when talking about Islamic history is clearly a generalization of Islam through her life experiences, and not factual history. Islam is perfect. We as people are not. Her home situation seems to indicate that her relatives followed the Quran selectively - and she, herself, seems to have issues with the very nature of Islam: Submission to God. TL;DR? She knows 20% about Islam advocating like she knows the other 80 - not acknowledging the fact that this is her own subjective experience. She's still on her journey.

An example is, Afghan people, hate to tell the names of the female family members to strangers and they are ready to fight for it if someone calls names of their sisters in a market place, or they go to witch doctors as Ayaan said. There is no invisible man in Islam , that is how the west represents god in cartoons and movies based on Christian tradition , that alone show your lack of knowledge on the subject. Introspection exist which is the constant struggle with your ego , You should do some research before judging based on CNN propaganda.
@worldgripe3 жыл бұрын
@Bas Dekker Its not an argument, its a fact, yes the 9th Century , it clearly shows that Islam has nothing to do with oppressing women if they were able to found Universities and invent navigation devices but you will still argue. Ever heard of the golden age of Islam? that gave you the renaissance in Europe. in the last 500 years real Islam doesn't not exist in so called Muslim countries. The french eradicated Islamic knowledge and scholars in North Africa and the british conspired with the Saud to get rid of the Ottoman Empire , we know what happened next in Saudi Arabia with women where Islam was hijacked by the wahabist sect. Oil money propagated that corrupted WAHABI doctrine to the world hence why ignorant people believe that is Islam. Don't project the behavior of certain Muslims in your country on Islam , I know who runs the streets of Amsterdam ! What they represent is the culture they come from as they were not taught any Islamic knowledge as kids. You are saying incest is permissible in Islam that shows clearly that you never studied it and your wife doesn't seems to even know about it either, maybe in her village culture incest is common. You are dishonest as you are talking about a subject you have no knowledge of, all your arguments are based on assumptions and insults.

Lovely how she can completely LIE on this stream and there is literally no one there to challenge her on her lies. So the people watching this actually believe that she is telling the "truth" because they themselves do not know Islam and the history, she can literally say the most deceitful things and there would be no one there to counter argue.

Who gives shit about Islam it’s all superstition to me! If you want to believe go ahead just don’t push it on free thinkers why do you think the Mideast is so fucked up? A lot of killing in the name of Islam keep that shit away from me and I have a right to say that!

And the reality of what you describe is not accidental, it is intentional. These islamophobes live in their own eco chamber with each other reinforcing each others lies and there is not one single QUALIFIED individual to easily expose the lies that are being sprouted. This is like having the grand Wizard of the KKK come on your show to ask his opinion of Blacks and Jews. joe is a secret islamophobe, there is no denying that at this point. And his fans live in the same echo chamber of islamophobia he lives in.

I'm a muslim, and the muslim world became corrupt a long time ago. Tradition and culture is more important than religion over there. Keeping people ignorant so they keep control over them making it impossible to ask questions. If you are religious you should always ask questions . Luckily my family is able to practice without fear and with freedom here in the US For the most part.

This and the following segment - her story - were by far the most gripping parts of the podcast. I wish this clip had as many views as the other two.
