I love skylanders and I love these videos. Skylanders used to have a website with all backstories so I remember reading them for hours and this reminds me of my childhood just sitting at the family computer reading stories.

The way magic exists as a separate "material", "energy", "force" idk how to describe it, has always confused me about Skylanders. There has always been overlap across elements where its possible that Skylanders could have some kind of duel-element system like Pokémon. Prism Break could easily be earth and light due to his light beams. Spyro breaths fire but he isn't considered to be part of the fire element. When does technology become the tech element, why is Trigger Happy's guns tech, but Zook's bazooka doesn't count? or Zaps back canisters (whatever they are)? This is a topic I'd love to have a full discussion on.

okay a fair bit late for this one however, I offer my services to clear up any lore 1. the Stone Golem we saw as a boss fight was the Eternal Earth Source in SSA, we don't know exactly how or why but to protect tiself the Earth Source came to life as a giant Stone Golem you had to defeat in order to obtain the Source itself, tho to be perfectly clear golems of all kind including Stone Golems are pretty common in Skylands (at one point we even saw Cactus Golems) 2. Skylanders are recruited pretty much seemingly at random, but that's exactly why they are this successful and this inspiring to anyone else, with Skylanders as a group being this varied they can relate to pretty much anyone and everyone can relate to them, treating them as an inspiration, look at Camo, Slam Bam and Zook for examples, they weren't established heroes and had pretty different reasons to join the Skylanders but eventually grew and became some of the best heroes Skylands ever knew, the same applies also to literally any team of Skylanders such as Giants (Thumpback was basically just a fisherman and Swarm was never experienced in combat), Swap Force (Free Ranger happened to be saved by Eon and Magna Charge was literally just looking for answers about his people) or even the Senseis (Ro-Bow just happened to download the files that made him a great archer while Flare Wolf was simply good at using fireworks) 3. As for the "bringing stuff to life" discussion, there are no Skylanders in the Magic element that were literally created not born, however there are at least two (Wrecking Ball and Deja Vu) that gained their abilities through something relating to that element or a freak accident, and there's a few other Skylanders that can say the same for their elements (Hot Head for instance), as for creating life purely out of magic it certainly is possible as we can personally see with the Bottle Beasts in Imaginators who were created by pop Fizz specifically, we just didn't see that in the Skylanders roster, as per the rules of how that works, it seems to work depending on the spell used, some spells might bring a stone to life just as a stone rolling around while other will bring it to life as a humanoid stone creature, it truly depends on what the writers wanted/the spell itself (Food Fight being an example of that, he became what he is today simply by the troll farmers using gun powder as a fertilizer and he grew angry at them for it) 4. fun facts on Prism Break, he is pretty much the face of the Lightcore variants (with some people like myself believing he is literally the first Lightcore Skylander) and is actually quite impactful in the series despite how little lore he actually got as his arms served as the direct inspiration for the Traps we saw in Trap Team, down to the point where you can literally put one of them into the Trap slot on the TT Portal (it won't do anything but you can do it). According to one of the other mentions of his character he also appears pretty stoic after his body merged with the gems, with some Skylanders even going out of their way to try and make him laugh similarly to Hex's situation, but he also isn't completely without emotion either as that same book mentions how Prism Break once did a magnificent light show with the help of Whirlwind on Trigger Happy's birthday because the fireworks were ruined due to a sudden downpour of rain. That same book also details how Flynn first met Prism Break and it was by total accident, Flynn mistaking Prism's arms for simply normal diamonds and hooking them on his balloon, only later hearing the shout of the infuriated Prism Break being hooked onto his anchor

I believe rocky roll are allowed to work separate but they work together because of their bond (this could also be the case for fright rider but I view Ozzie as more of a pet) Also is doomstone was made out of the purest stone in skylands, why wasn’t he made of trap Traptanium and part of the trap team

another Skylanders video another chance for me to tell about 1 of my own created Skylanders Cyclolem a long time ago, he was 1 of Kaos' cyclop soldiers, who was forced to mine for Petrified Darkness however the mine he worked in, 1 day collapsed, causing him to be trapped, but instead of doing nothing he actually dug further and came across Petrified Light, however when he touched it he merged with the serounding rocks giving him enough strength to escape, only to realize he has been stuck down there for months, but thanks to his new body, powers, morality, ect. he knew what to do, find one of the Skylanders, explain what happened to him, and join them
