Guys! A week ago I decided to get a board on my own and learn to skate. I had found your channel and have been binge-watching ever since (and skating, ofc). Today I did my first ollie (and didn't fall on landing)! This is the most amazing feeling ever :D. Thank you for your videos, greetings from Poland! :)

They're the sketchiest thing. They always make you wanna lean edge to edge. Just feels really unergonomic and you'll feel like it'll take your ankles out any second

So funny, love you guys. As for the Skate Cycle and Orbit Wheels, your extreme proficiency skating is your enemy-- you're fighting the muscle memory developed over years of regular skating. Skateboards or longboards all turn by tilting the deck. These weird skate-things (except Ripsticks) basically all turn by rotating the two decks. Adding to the frustration, you must rotate them in opposite directions. Adding FURTHER to the difficulty, you must swing your front shoulder in coordination with your front foot to propel yourself. Don't know if you remember the Snakeboard (no longer made) but if you could get someone to send you an old one (must be lots of them sitting in closets) it would probably be the easiest way to learn all those motions, since it has four wheels set up in skateboard fashion, and you can stand on it no problem while not rolling. "Streetboards" use the same design (though they don't turn as sharply as a Snakeboard). I got Snakeboards/streetboards wired years ago, then recently learned Freelines. With that experience I think I could learn the Orbits and the S. Cycle pretty fast. In my experience these weird rides are super fun and surfy once you learn them and are the ultimate cruising boards since you never need to put a foot on the ground. Think human-powered surf-style Segway with no handle bars... Now if I could only land a regular-board shove-it or ollie higher than 3 inches... You likely won't read this I know but hope it helps if you do...

I had this as a kid, when it was launched. In the first day I couldn't go straight and it took a few hours to actually ride it, but after I got practice i remember it was super funny because no other kid could ride it!

I bought one on Amazon 2 years ago. Fell about a million times but it gets easier over time. I started by just going down a hill to get a feel for the speed, manoeuvring and balance.

I'm a bit late to comment and I can't believe that no one has pointed this out yet, but you have to put the 2 pins in so that it won't "collapse" while you're riding it, then the motion to get it going is actually very similar to that on a ripstick...

I love my skatecycle. I got mine back in 2012 I Believe. It took me two weeks to learn how to go forward but it will definitely Give you a 6-PAK!!!

I love how Aaron always says "I've been skateboarding for 23 years and I can't even roll this thing". Dude, it's a completely different thing, a different kind of movement and balance. It's like saying "I can ride a bike, I guess I should be able to perfectly master the unicycle in five minutes" :D

Have you tried propelling yourself on it by pulling your feet together (towards the middle) than apart and repeat instead of swiveling them like you were trying?

It's clearly another attempt at a street snowboard. You have to lead with your front wheel, as in front wheel turns right, back follows by turning left so the two make an arc along the ground. Then you turn your front wheel left, the back continues the arc by turning right. With this motion there is an opportunity to shove with your back wheel as it completes the arc, which is how you propel yourself forward. It's a lot like snowboarding down a slow, flat slope, if the two wheels get out of sync you will "catch an edge" and go flying.

I live in Livermore, pretty close to Fremont. Took me 3 years on and off, no joke, but within the last week I taught myself to ride it, and it’s a stupid mode of transportation, but it feels great when you do it right. But yeah batteries help.

I have a skatecycle bought it like a year ago and have to say they are pretty difficult. It took me an entire day to learn how to really get around. I'd say it'd take forever to really master it but at that point who would want to they aren't even that fun. A ripstick is better and less sketchy and a skateboard/longboard even better

things like the the ORBIT WHEELS and FREE LINERS take a little bit more time to learn than a regular SKATEBOARD. (THEY HAVE A LONGER LEARNING CURVE). if you practice for just a little longer you'll get the hang of it.

You should find an original "Marwin Snakeboard". They were kinda like the OG ripstick, except it has 4 wheels like an actual skateboard, with two platforms for your feet connected in the middle sorta like this skate cycle.

Have all because it could be cool. It says to keep your weight in front foot so maneuver your back foot and sway your body with it. I feel like it's like a wave board. And kick off the ground with your foot in position, on the board.

They did a long long time ago and the video wasn't even based on them... it was one with Ty Moss. (This is from memory so I'm sorry if I'm wrong) Yeah I know they take some time but if they actually give it a try I'm sure they will learn. They just need to watch some tutorials.
