I may have mentioned this in the comments of the video where Karl previously talked about people getting his name wrong, but Karl is my deadname, so I can understand where he's coming from. It's a name I still need to use for some things (medically being the big one since I haven't changed it on my insurance), and when I have to give my name, it's always "Karl with a K". It's been misspelled for so much of my life that my hospital bracelet when I was a newborn (my mom still has it, either sandwiched in a photo album or in a memory box) has the name as "Carl", but with a hastily-drawn line to try to make the C look like a K. All because my parents, when naming me after a great uncle, wanted to differentiate from his name with a different spelling. But it turns out that all my siblings and myself have at least one name (first or middle name) that's misspelled or mispronounced. Luckily, we go by our middle names, so I didn't much have to deal with the misspelling (only for things that were more formal). My sister, meanwhile, has both her first and middle with potential misspellings (and her middle is also often mispronounced). At least I don't have it that bad.

I have KZfaq preimum. I do listen to a few podcasts or watch some channels with ads read in the video and I don't fast forward. Some people fast forward through the ads, I think those people are jerks. Also, as for the misspelling the name, I sort of agree with Karl. People should spell your name correctly. However, a woman I've known my entire life calls me Christina roughly 50% of the time. I learned to accept it.
