When you receive job seekers allowance (or whatever it is called in each country). Your full-time job is actually to look for work / look for a job.

i totally agree. JSA is just there to help you until you get a full time job, it isnt there to live on

@@flubber788 right, it's actually written in black and white now that they expect 40 hours of job search a week, i.e. it's all you should be doing all day every day

Job centres have signs up stating: "Helping you back into work" Yet i bet if i went to my local job centre and aksed for help with what i want to do, they'd respond: JC: "We cant help with that"

it is always best to apply for a few jobs per months and do a good job of the application, instead of 50 poor applications per month.

I do see Hailey point but in 2010 not just the UK quite a few countries were going through a ression everything goes up pubic tranceport faires rose loads he may be telling the truth because over here in the UK it did

I graduated in 2010 and it was a horrible time (I was desperate for a public sector job in either the police or fire brigade and would’ve moved anywhere to get it but there was a recruitment freeze). I worked in restaurants for four years though, I didn’t use it as an excuse.

Hmm cheesehead81 who might you be lol since you know so much personal information about me? I was not working at an apartment complex in 2009, I don't know where you get your information from, I also was not unemployed for five years, we just didn't have steady jobs, if you watch the show Shawn even says he had jobs off and on. No one lied about anything, its called editing maybe you should do your research on how shows are made, or actually try and contact the actual person and ask them.
