This has everything from you could want from MES. Carrier bag, jacket removal, early exit, 1 mic, 2 mics, keyboard fiddling, amp fiddling, faulty megaphone. Great song, great performance.

As a huge fall fan i always wished my mates would love them as much as I would/do or even listen to them but i know know that i am the lucky one who gets them. I think the new generation of post punk bands (i hate that term) like idles and fontaines dc who are clearly influenced will be what people will truly remember the fall for, a massive influence and hopefully people will take the time to listen to them and appreciate them/he truly was, the greatest rock grupe ever

@@badmen1550 I don't disagree with you slightly mate, MES is a f#@kin GOD! No one will ever make music like he did, being so adamant not to change his vision even if it meant less money and album sales?? Well I believe that and I also believe in 20-30 years time the fall will be held in the same regard if not more than the velvet underground as THE influential band without compromise so i think my point is the fall are the greatest GROUP ever bar none, sorry about the rant man lol

It's Twin Peaks you're thinking of. You know - that series with the dream sequences that had a dwarf with an unnaturally broad cranium, a furrowed brow and a very weathered complexion who spoke gnomic riddles in gibberish - And you know what? That's him on vocals here.

Could go down the route of commenting about how this is real music, but that is too obvious. What this is, is the music of agitation; fed-up, fucked off, and proudly working class. If there is one thing good knows about how many years of tory rule that beckons it is that maybe, just maybe, we get more bands and artists that will be of similar suit emerging. It was said in another comment but it is so true - we need more "scaring folk with hubris" that comes from working class stock in guitar music. Sleaford Mods are the only thing that comes close, but aren't really guitar music in its traditional form. We need that traditional four or five piece who *are* a bit bored, edgy and perhaps even self-indulgent to inspire; bands who just churn it out and care not for appearing on Jonathon Ross, reaching the masses with commercial friendly tat, or what-fucking-ever.
