Yeah I think the whole "Skull kid caused everything to happen" reason was more of an oversight from the development team. They were on a time crunch after all. What I wouldn't give for Nintendo to release more information about both the Ikana Kingdom and the world of Lorule(my headcannon is that Termina is actually in Lorule since both are parallel to Hyrule in some way and Termina has very little to no references to the Triforce.)

Actually i think the skull kid caused the dead kingdom to revive by removing the barrier on the stone tower temple that kept the spirits asleep but the fall happened LONG before the period of OOT

Probably not Skull kid in present time but what of Majora it´self? I still have to think of that one shrine with all the Heart Shaped masks inside Ikana we are told that Skull Kid was not the first to get tempted by Majoras power so I see no reason why it could not have been Majora who released the curse of the Dead in the first place upon the land when discovered by Sharp or anyone for the matter attempting to turn the tide in the war they were fighting long before it once again fell into obscurity when all of the people perished and it was eventually found again by the Happy Mask Salesman the intervention of some other devil being just seems so random

There are a lot of places in nintendo you could do theories on. I'd personally like to see you tackle the history of the ruins in matter splatter galaxy, the ruined kingdom in Mario Odyssey, or other mysterious places in other games. I do so enjoy lore and theory videos about game locations.

Isn't Ikana Kingdom a flip on Hyrule Kingdom, with Ikana Caste being an alt-reality version of Hyrule Castle (the opening to their theme is rather similar, as is that Ikana is the only thing close to a Kingdom that Termina has)...which would make the Garo alt-reality Sheikah who warred with Ikana instead of joining forces (as Ikana had no Zelda)?

Majora's mask is actually a mask made out of majora, a man-eating monster that lives all alone in a deserted part of the world's magic armour that grants the wishes of whoever wears it. The mask is made by a traveling worrior who finds the monster and uses a magic drum to make majora dance for 3 days and 3 nights and fall down and die on the 4th day. When majora dies, all that's left of him is his armour. This is a hidden secret that can only be found in an official zelda majora's mask comic book.

I really enjoy ancient civilizations in Zelda games. A 3rd game about the Hero of Time's adventure that takes place in the Lost Woods would be awesome, since we can explore ruins of old kingdoms and tribes that persisted through the forest. Like ancient battlefields and Empires that were consumed by the Lost Woods would make great dungeons and areas

It's Been Such a Long Time Since I Have not played Majora's Mask I Stopped Playing it when the Nintendo Gamecube came out and that was in 2001, So Remember the Building Next to the Scientist House when you Enter it There are Redeads that Glare at anyone Who Enters and when you wear a specific Mask they Dance, It Turns out they are Women and they were Dancers for the King of Ikana they were Creepy. If they are Redeads then they attack and Kill people by Biting and Drinking there Blood and if they do that they are Evil and will not go to a Good Place When they Pass.

@@drwily remember the majora mask was used in hex rituals i Wonder If It may be used in the top of Stone Tower. Maybe the garo is a tribe from that region. Since ikana king Said hes army couldnt get on top of It. Probably the garo tribe opened the portal tô other dimension on Stone Tower temple and front there majora Devil possessed the majoras mask

I wonder if the "other kingdom" is Hyrule? They do have their own ninja spies, in the form of the Sheikah, who do the dirty work, and unconscionable things the Royal Family can't be associated with, but it would still be bad if they were identified, so they blow themselves up, and at certain times, the magic of the Sheikah has been able to conjure bombs? Not sure if the Gorman Brothers having Garo masks disproves it in any way, but there's the silly thought. 😁
