lots and lots of practice. Geddy Lee said his method for learning to perform live is that he just sits down and plays the songs for a few hours, working on playing it right while focusing on other stuff (like just having a conversation with someone) and then learning the lyrics backwards and forwards. I don't know if Thomas Erak has a similar method, but that's just giving an idea of how he might learn the songs

Lots of practice and muscle memory. It will come naturally. Learned this song when I was like 17 or so and I guess I learned the lyrics first and then once you learn them perfect, you learning the riff is a little more easier

Lol. Yea it may seem that way when you primarily know him from Chon. He used to be in some metal band a few years ago and you could clearly see him head banging and moving quite a bit. I guess he changes his demeanor based on the music he's playing at the time

So good. I really don't like CHON as much since he left. I know that's shitty to say, and it's totally irrational - but I feel like the live presence of the band took a huge dive when he left.

+Michael Quinonez chon started with both guitarist Erik and Mario and little brother Nathan drew actually came in a while later but before they had other bassist but overall I think drew had a big impact on the band since he did the vocals of ecco and can't wait which made chon complete you know but I've been following them since 06 they're all talented man

Arturo Monroy I get it, but I saw them post-Drew and it just wasn't the same. I'll always still see the band when they come around, but I stand by the fact that I feel that he added so much to their live shows. I still look forward to the future of CHON, though, and hope they continue to be as awesome as they are now.
