Some bands have imense technical ability, dozens of instruments, a future age recording studio plus a multi million recording contract and produce din equivalent to an ant fart. The Fall have mimimal resources and produce music that should be on that disk on the Voyager spacecratfs. IT AIN'T WHAT YOU GOT BUT WHAT YOU DO WITH IT THAT MATTERS!

@@pigglesy Technically, if you manifest an idea in any written or recorded form it is a copyright. Video was great for the first half, but why drag in the Chairman Mao stuff? That's not what we wanted. We dig repetition.
@izationalizer6 жыл бұрын
I don't *think* the Chairman Mao imagery is intended as "serious" political commentary. I've always interpreted it a reference to the "Mao suit," which was/is a simple grey tunic (very similar to Kim Jong-un's usual attire). The Mao suit is an excellent example of "repetition," as it was worn by virtually the *entire* male population in China during the Cultural Revolution of the 1960s-70s.

Many hippies have, for ages, been doing or saying the same bo....ix! I also sometimes play New Big Prinz and sometimes what I can understand of Capt. Beefheart. I also visit a little room usually at least once a day and miss very little that i'm too forgetful to remember. I was still doin the jesus thing when rotten and co had it all with suss.
