Deus Encarmine and Deus Sanguinius are my favorite books as a BA player. Re-reading it every now and then (Red Tide and Black Rage too) and still get goosebumps. I wonder what happened to Rafen during the Devastation of Baal. He's a awesome character to follow. But besides the main protaginist I think my favorite character is Brother Sergeant Koris.

The pantheon of demigods, heros, legends, and primordial beings is the stuff legacies are forged and worlds are made. For how can gods walk amongst them and not be worshipped as such even in the face of denying it, humans are drawn to power like moths to a flame and like the flame those moths are powerless to it. And the angel if their was one among us today would be the first step to an undeniable truth that god could very well be real at that point, even if denied by said angel. What lore you can tell man.
