We all know that science can sometimes surprise us with ideas that challenge the very foundations upon which they are built. These intriguing contradictions are called paradoxes. They have the power to reshape our understanding of the universe. And the Twin Paradox is no exception!
At the core of this perplexing puzzle lies the concept of Time Dilation, a fascinating phenomenon arising from Special Relativity. Time dilation suggests that when an individual traverses through space at incredible speeds, time itself slows down for them, leading to a remarkable effect: they age slower than their stationary counterparts.
But here is where it gets intriguing! Upon closer inspection, we discover that this notion of time dilation contradicts the fundamental principles of special relativity, the very principle on which it is based on. That is the reason for Twin Paradox.
However, it is crucial to note that the true essence of this paradox is often misunderstood by many. There are a lot of Misinterpretations of the twin paradox in numerous Malayalam videos on the subject. Sadly, this has resulted in misleading explanations and incorrect resolutions.
So, what exactly is the Twin Paradox? How does the concept of time dilation clash with the bedrock of special relativity? And most importantly, what is the definitive answer to this mind-bending enigma? Let us find out in this video
ഒരു Scientific തിയറിയുടെ അനന്തരഫലമായിട്ടു നമുക്ക് കിട്ടുന്ന ഒരു ആശയം ആ തിയറിയുടെ അടിസ്ഥാന തത്വത്തിനു തന്നെ എതിരാകുന്ന സാഹചര്യങ്ങൾ വരുമ്പോൾ, അതിനെ Paradox എന്ന് വിളിക്കാറുണ്ട്. അത്തരത്തില് Special തിയറി ഓഫ് റിലേറ്റിവിറ്റിയുമായി ബന്ധപ്പെട്ട ലോക പ്രസിദ്ധമായ ഒരു paradox ആണ് the Twin Paradox.
നമുക്കറിയാം , സ്പെഷ്യൽ റിലേറ്റിവിറ്റിയുടെ അനന്തര ഫലമായിട്ടു പറയുന്ന ഒരു പ്രതിഭാസമാണ് Time Dilation. നമ്മളെ അപേക്ഷിച്ചു അതിവേഗം സഞ്ചരിക്കുന്ന ഒരു വ്യക്തിക്ക് സമയം സഞ്ചരിക്കുന്നത് നമ്മളെക്കാൾ പതിക്കെയായിരിക്കും എന്ന് പറയുന്ന ആശയമാണ് ടൈം ഡൈലേഷൻ. അതിന്റെ ഫലമായിട്ട് , ആ വ്യക്തിക്ക് പ്രായമാകുന്നത് നമ്മളേക്കാൾ പതുക്കെയായിരിക്കും.
എന്നാൽ നമ്മൾ ഒന്നുകൂടെ കടന്നു ചിന്തിച്ചാൽ ഈ ഒരു ആശയം സ്പെഷ്യൽ റിലേറ്റിവിറ്റിയുടെ അടിസ്ഥാന തത്വങ്ങൾക്ക് തന്നെ വിരുദ്ധമായിട്ടു വരുന്നത് കാണാൻ കഴിയും. അതാണ് twin പാരഡോക്സിന് കാരണമാകുന്നത്.
പക്ഷെ ഈ Twin paradoxലെ, യഥാർത്ഥ പാരഡോക്സ് എന്താണെന്നു പലരും തെറ്റായിട്ടാണ് മനസ്സിലാക്കിയിരിക്കുന്നത്. @@dailyviews2843 ഇതിനുള്ള ഉത്തരം അദ്ദേഹം തന്നിട്ടുണ്ട് എന്നാണ് ഞാൻ മനസിലാക്കുന്നത്. പ്രപഞ്ചത്തിന്റെ ഒരേ ദൂരത്തിലുള്ള രണ്ടു പോയന്റുകൾ എന്നും ഒരേ വേഗത്തിലാവും അകലുന്നത്. അവ അകന്ന് കുറേ ദൂരെ എത്തുമ്പോൾ ആണ് ആരണ്ടു പോയന്റുകൾ കൂടുതൽ വേഗത്തിൽ അകലുന്നു എന്ന് നമ്മൾ പറയുന്നത്.

Here `C´ is the speed of light in vaccum(universal speed limit) Remember we experience sufficient time dialation only when the velocity of the body under relativistic effect is nearly same as that of the C In the similar way length contraction can be given by L' = L/r

നല്ല explanation ആയിരുന്നു...കൃത്യവും വ്യക്തവും ആണ്...ഞാൻ കണ്ടതിൽ അധികം channel ഒന്നും ഇത്രയും efforts എടുക്കുന്നതായി തോന്നീട്ടില്ല.. പല ചാനലുകളും alien, time travel, parallel world തുടങ്ങിയ ടോപിക്ക് ആണ് പലർക്കും താല്പര്യം.ഇതൊക്കെ ഇതൊക്കെ കേൾക്കാൻ സുഖം ഉണ്ടെങ്കിലും ഇതൊക്കെ വേറെ രീതിയിൽ ആണ് explain ചെയുന്നത്. കുറെ ആളുകൾക്ക് Science temper ഉണ്ടാക്കാൻ ഈ channel സഹായിക്കും. വിനോദ് പ്രോക്സിമയിൽ പോയിട്ട് തിരിച്ചു ഭൂമി ഉണ്ടായിരുന്ന സ്ഥലത്ത് വരുമ്പോൾ ഭൂമി അവിടെ ഉണ്ടാകില്ല. ഭൂമി ആ സമയം കൊണ്ട് ബഹുദൂരം സഞ്ചരിച്ചിട്ടുണ്ടാവും. അപ്പോൾ വിനോദിന് ഭൂമിയിൽ എത്താൻ വീണ്ടും ഒരുപോട് നാൾ സഞ്ചരിക്കേണ്ടി വരും. അങ്ങനെ നോക്കിയാൽ വിനോദിന്റെ പ്രായം കുറച്ചു കൂടി കൂടും😅

Vinoj, ൻ്റേ rocket speed പകുതി ആക്കുന്നു എന്ന് കരുതുക. മനോജ് നേരെ opposite direction ലേക്ക് ഇതേ വേഗത്തിൽ, യാത്ര തുടങ്ങുന്നു. Both starts journey in opposite directions at same time, same speed - 0.999c/2. Now relative speed is 0.999c. ഇപ്പൊൾ ആരുടെ time ആയിരിക്കും slow ആവുക.

Sir, suppose two objects A and B are moving very fast and are moving away from each other with no acceleration at all. •According to A, it is at rest and B is moving very fast away from A So according to A, B must be undergoing time dialation •According to B, then A is in motion, B is at rest and A should be under going time dialtion. Sir, then which of the condition stays true? If both are true then does it means that both A and B undergoes time dialtion and the age of both the objects A and B will be the same?

Anoop sir, C s Unnikrishnan sir argues against The second postulate that speed of light is constant. Constancy of speed of light also effected by gravitational field. In his cosmic theory he says Einstein is not right. Big example for this , the GPS is not navigating properly as per the Einstein theory of relativity, also he says the GPS is not working based on Einstein theory as somebody is made out to be. Can you please explain the fact??

Let's say at time = 0 Manoj in earth and vinoj travelling in 99.9% speed of light and continue to do so. At that point will the paradox work? Means till the point before reaching the target. imho this is not a solution to twin paradox. Following are my arguments 1. If time dilation depends on feeling of force, the earth twin has no way to understand whether the space twin has had felt a force or not, for earth twin it might still feel like he/she is moving wrt to space twin. 2. Two frames doesn't resolve the paradox as it is another way to saying felt a force. A better thought experiment would be 2 twins going around in circles at two different speeds. Who will feel they have aged more ? And all this thought experiments are in flat space time , what is the result in curved space time ? PS: Einstein's solution to twin paradox is not this. As per him, the returning space twin will see the earth twin and earth as things under gravity.. and in gravitational field the further objects will experience faster time.. for me, that also has same amount of contradictions as acceleration, two frames explanation.

I haven't found a reasonable explanation of the paradox till now. And the paradox remains paradox until we have some reference point. Something being absolute not relative. This most times leads to some other contradictions like relative speed going higher than c (c+v) .

Assume this situation.If A and B are traveling with same velocity(velocity=velocity of light) suddenly A apply break and it's velocity become zero.But B continuous it's journey with same velocity and it returns to A after 8 years by making a round without any velocity change.Then is there any age difference between them..if so why it is.. because B neither accelerat nor decelerat but return back by making a round..

circular motion is non inertial. it all comes down to this, if vinoj remains in single inertial frame all the time, manoj and vinoj will never meet again to compare their age. if they have to compare their age difference, they have to meet twice. for which any one of them has to change reference frames. otherwise, they will never meet till the end of universe.
