I love this knife, I've bought several over the years. Im a painter and I'm always needing a knife. I've even customized mine a bit. I've switch the clip around to the other end, if you take a look at it all you need is a small Phillips head to do it. I've also dyed the handle black on three of them. The Rut all purpose dye works great. Just rig up a little caldron or pot and bring the dye to a full boil, pull it off the stove and give it 3-4 minutes then drop the whole knife in there for as long as you want. The black dye works the best but I've also used blue and green with "interesting" results. I couldn't recommend this knife enough. Seems like every time I walk by one I pick one up. I give them out to my boys and other young men as a great pocket knife and they all love it. It's just a great all around knife like you said. For the price, nothing is comparable. Using the hawkbill like a karambit in the reverse grip as a secondary in tandem with your preferred knife as a primary and you can be quite formidable. I train to use two knives because I have two hands!

Interesting option

So glad they updated this knife to have a reversible pocket clip. Its between this and the toughbuilt hawkbill knife and the thoughbuilt is out of stock. For $15 it looks like they are priced the same & have similar features. I like the thumb stud and flipper tab of the toughbuilt, but the milwaukee is IN stock and everyone says they love their fastbacks soooooo much. This might be my first fastback.

I love hawk bill blades very handy for work of all kinds and if need be self defense as I train with a Byrd Crossbill knife . Just my opinion on hawkbill blade types the amount of damage done to a target is horrible I feel maybe worse than a warren cliff just my opinion on it though.
