The US economy is a powerhouse with a diverse range of sectors. The stock market and the dollar have traditionally been safe havens due to their long-term growth and stability. However, potential downturns are part of the economic cycle, and laws are in place to manage defaults and asset seizures. I’m having trouble understanding the current market situation. One on hand, we keep hearing warnings about an impending crash/correction, while on the other hand, the market keeps reaching new all-time-highs. Oxymoron or Paradox? The problem with Miners just switching to AI is that the computers are ASIC’s (Application specific integrated circuits). They would be terribly slow training neural nets. Not just 10’s of percent slower, but 1000’s. Ai hardware uses matrix multiplication (linear algebra) to train the ai. Bitcoin ASIC’s were purpose built to solve the SHA-256 hash function.

People don’t have money so inflation will go down. Inflated housing values will go down BUT mortgages linked to housing won’t go down. Demand for housing from the rush of illegals will increase but they don’t have tangible, W-2 type jobs. Where I live housing prices are going up because of those coming from New York, Philadelphia etc to escape crime. The immigrants are working for cash. That cash money is being send back to their countries. Etc, etc.

Completely agree with orange shirt on the media. Really appreciate you guys. Please keep up the good work with the discussions. Even if you still don't see what it's like to be a minimum wage worker. Maybe go talk to some service workers and ask them about what's going on and I think you'll see things aren't as rosy as they seem. The same thing happened in Weimar during their inflation. People who came to the country to see what was happening thought there was huge growth, while the people were actually having a hard time. And that was before the bad hyperinflation set in.

Miners are not lending compute to AI, miners don't have the capital for GPUs. They are lending out their power infrastructure. The market discovered miners' values are in energy infrastructure. Stock price for miners with cheap power and infra will continue to pump more if Bitcoin start moving up.

Bitcoin looks strong anywhere above 40k on the monthly chart. I like the 50.5k area in particular as that's where a regular flat pattern would complete which should be right near a weekly macd 0 line test. Even that would fall short of testing a monthly sma20 test which should bring lots of buyers. There's a ton of technical tailwinds still.

1:04:30 regulation favors the incumbents, so does taxation, so does the nature of so called free trading. Without regulation of inside information incumbent class, including criminals have an over whelming advantage in trading. Don't glory in deregulation, the whole crypto world , and other markets will d be even more scamfull, without a strong honest regulators. The debate illustrated why its time for a generational change. Sadly the two party system is very broken. There is a party of I want to keep my stuff, and a party of I want to take your stuff. Maybe its always been that way. But an inherent flaw in free markets is that wealth creation is power creation and becomes a self-sustaining mechanism that overwhelms regulation and takes control of tax authority, undermining the middle class that creates the wealth.
