I’m 71 but have to buy this guitar. I still play out in a duo and this is perfect. I’ve played a Parker Fly for years and like the acoustic sounds, but this is amazing.

Michael I just bought this guitar today. After my first test at my local guitar center I was literally shaking after playing it. I could not get the sound of this guitar out of my head. Granted I am a fender man through and through, I play a fingerpicking style of guitar with Bits of indie psychedelic pop. I am thrilled with my purchase and if you feel like this guitar is speaking to you I would just say as an owner that it is well worth the investment and I’m sure after spending some time with this very fine instrument it’s performance will speak for itself. I originally wanted it in a tungsten finish, however that particular color was on back order until October and I wanted to spend the summer jamming with this guitar. I settled on arctic white and I have no regrets. Good luck and I hope you get what you’re looking for

@@bryonguernsey9794 - I bought mine in early 23 and I couldn't agree more. I wanted the all mahogany version but ended up getting one in tungsten that somebody had returned earlier that morning. It was in brand new condition and came with a hard shell case with a few extras thrown in. I lucked out big time. I run it with bronze strings in the and it sounds incredible; like a bell. And it really does sound like the different acoustics. You may have to adjust some eq to get it perfect, but it's damn convincing. I only realized how much it did when I went to a party (a bunch of musicians) and while out of the room, I heard someone playing something interesting and went to see who it was. When I got there I realized that he was playing my guitar (no problem...all friends here). I could have sworn that it was a miked acoustic. As it is now, I'm damn happy with it and highly recommend owning one.

Thank you, Dagan, for jamming the electric settings! Missing from other reviewers. They seem to be trying to convince acoustic players to buy a $2000 Fender crossover with computerized fake acoustic sound instead of a $2000 authentic acoustic. I'm attracted to this guitar for exactly what it is--a machine that I can noodle on the couch with unplugged, or jam electric with, or make a fantastic acoustic sound in the thin profile with bonus of no buzz in the strings and bridge. My biggest criticism that's holding me back from buying: Hard to imagine paying two grand for a guitar that looks so artificial despite being so finely crafted. The face looks like linoleum from a kitchen counter. How about a high gloss 3D flamed maple for $2K?

I understand you’re a gripe about the finish to the extent that they don’t provide enough color choices. I do love the matte finish and when you hold one in your hands and play the instrument the fit and finish will speak for itself. I would like to see it in a British racing green with a black and red tortoise pick shell but that’s just me. Oh and fender if you’re listening don’t forget the tremolo bar on the 2022 model. As far as the sound of this guitar goes again once you play one the sound will speak for itself and I would challenge you to defy its greatness.

I got lucky enough to walk into Guitar Center today and they had the Acoustasonic Jazzmaster and Telecaster hanging on the wall. They were nice enough to let me give them both a try. The guitars have a really good feel and a great weight for at home plinking. I was about to have the salesperson set up an amp and then I ran my hand down the neck. Oh my gosh - not good. Maybe it is supposed to have a satin finish, but this felt like a piece of wood that came right off the shaper without any sanding. It was rough in several places. One of the other employees felt it and said "maybe it is crusted up sweat from another customer." After rubbing on it for a while, no - it was not crushed up sweat. That was a big deal breaker for me. So, I grabbed the telecaster version. The sides of the neck were much smoother than the Jazzmaster, but the skunk stripe was just as rough as the other one. In no way could you ever say either of these had a neck built for speed. Needless to say, as a Fender person, I was very, very disappointed and I was very glad that I had not ordered one sight unseen. Maybe the ones they send out for reviews have finished necks but these two did not. It was as if they put a little stain on them and decided they were good to go. Certainly not what I would expect for $2,000 guitars. I'm interested to know if anyone has seen one that has a smooth finish on the neck. Maybe these two were just COVID flukes.

Sounds? Pretty impressive...amazing at times where I can't believe my ears. Looks? Like a kids toy with a guitar sticker slapped on the front of it. Body Design: Looks very comfortable to play. Overall: I'm not a pro musician so I can't see this working it's way into my collection... Great demo video! Thanks Dagan!! As always....ENTERTAINING!!!

I completely agree with the little rant that justifies the price of these things. That's what I've been saying the whole time these guitars have been out. I don't know one anyone other than Fender doing this and if they are, I don't think any of them use proprietary Fishman tech

Really interested in one, how would you get the shred tone on a pa, what pedal would you use. Would it do everything through a spark mini amp ?

What kind of strings are on it and what gauge? Acoustically it’s sounds like Phosphor-Bronze 11’s, but electric sounds like nickel 10’s

They get all that hate because they still sound like piezo quackers while they’re marketed as being magical acoustic modelers. They’re ok. I personally hate acoustic-electric guitar tones, it’s just an aesthetic preference.

A fantastic guitar and demonstrated perfectly. Not a fan of the matte Sunburst finish though - Sunburst needs to be glossy to work for me - but love the other colours.

I don’t mind the fact that the Sunburst is Matte, however It’s the spray pattern of the Sunburst that looks, well , let’s just say not up to American standards. I think that the dark rim should be a little bit thicker and fade more subtlety. Eh uhm ... fender aRe you listening ? And for god sake‘s people let’s put a tremolo bar on this amazing instrument as well.

Not a big fan lolz. But I do appreciate the attempt at mixing acoustic with electric. It's not not doing it for me lol. Especially at 2k. I think the hate mostly comes from the look though lol. Admit it my fellow guitar people... It's weird lol. I'm sure it plays great but the sound is weird to me also. I consider getting one though. It's not like it's absolute trash like many over priced gibsons that tend to break at the neck joint or nut head stock area... pos gibson lol.

Looks like a melting cartoon guitar. Absolutely hate this thing. If the world exploded and humanity ended it would be worth it to end this. I love this guy but the stink from this guitar will alway spoil his image in my mind. Please smash this thing into a trillion microscopic bits.
