Jesus. I had no idea how dark, stressful, and fucked up this movie is. The Metallica video used to creep the hell out of me but hearing more about the movie scared me even more. Also I think James used "landmine" instead of "artillery" because that word flowed better with that part of the song imo. Great detailed video James!👏👏👏

Even out of context, some of the dialogue in the movie is really haunting. "Put your arms around me. I need their warmth to keep the chill of death away."

i watched this movie the 1st time with a band mate at 3 am all drunk and stoned and it is 1 of the most fucked up, dark, depressing movies i have ever seen.

I was always intrigued by this film after seeing the music video aged 9. It kept me up at night. Very excited for The Smiths retrospective, How Soon Is Now? Is my personal favourite song of all time.

Apparently, the film was co-written with surrealist filmmaker Luis Buñuel, but he was uncredited. Which kinda explains the sometimes experimental nature of the dream sequences. "I am the boss, this is champagne, merry Christmas!"

Great video as always. I dont mean to sound impatient, but ive just listened to all the smiths albums so do you have any idea when the retrospective may come out? Looking forward to it as i loved the twisted sister one.
