I've said this in other videos, but Nintendo really leaning into Bowser being a metalhead has been one of the best Mario Character character developments.

Whoever decided to make the final boss a rhythm-based fight needs a raise.

Between base 3D World, Odyssey and Wonder, it's really felt like Bowser has turned into less of a villain and more of a showman. Dude made an entire amusement park, threw a giant wedding on the moon and his plan in this game was basically to make a never ending rave around the world and have have evetyone submit to his sick beats. I honestly think if Bowser didn't love being the bad guy so much, he'd be an awesome DJ/wedding planner/amusement park tycoon/probably whatever else he sets his mind to.

It really says how not super evil bowser is considering he had the power the shape reality however he wanted and he was like “yeah my big plan is to make everyone live in an eternal rave…an *eeeevil* rave”

And the final Bowser fight is a music level, perfect. I love the rock concert theme of this arena, it fits Bowser perfectly, and the music and the cheering getting more intense during each phase is just amazing, I especially can't get over the beat of that last phase. Seeing how this fight was music-based I was hoping it would go down the Just Shapes and Beats path and be more of a bullet hell (especially the part where he fires fiery piranha notes), but what we got was amazing as well.

Honestly, they managed to make a Bowser fight actually fun to fight against again. Credit where credit is due. Haven't had this much fun with a Bowser fight since New Super Mario Bros Wii Also, slowling turning Bowser into a metalhead? Im all for it

Bowser has been quite active making many social events lately. On 3D World, He had a circus. On Oddysey, He had a wedding. Here, it Is a concert.

I always loved the parts where Bowser would retreat to the background and do a little fist pumping while firing the piranha plant notes. It gave me time to actually focus on how good of a song this is.

At this point in the game, Bowser is powerful enough to warp the very fabric of reality and what does he do with it? THROWS A FUCKING RAVE!!!!

I love how this starts with elements of Koopa's Road from SM64, before turning into its own thing. Between this and Bowser's Fury, heavy metal Bowser is absolutely a thing, and I'm loving it! Edit: It's actually Bowser's boss theme from SM64, not Koopa's Road, which is his course theme

If this boss was more difficult, I would probably explode with happiness from HOW GOOD THIS FIGHT IS! The crowd in the background, the DJ booth up ahead, the giant gramophone, everything just added to the boss. Speaking of which, while it wasn’t the most difficult, I still think it’s the best Bowser fight ever. The way he grooves to the song, the fire piranha plant notes, everything was great.

Bowser in this game gives me so much Lord Hater energy, more than he ever has before, its great. He even has the green magic and massive ship shaped like his head!

The difficult part is remembering to actually fight Bowser instead of just vibing

This has become one of my favorite Bowser fights in the series, with only the 3d Land, 3d World and Galaxy games having better battles. Its also one of the most unique when compared to the others. It also helps that it has a killer battle theme.

I’m really starting to believe Bowser is more just misunderstood than evil with every game. The Koopa is a king for a reason, he throws absolute killer parties and plans everything down to the last detail.

Even if the fight is easy, I'm so happy that the final Bowser encounter is actually a fight like in Super Mario World as opposed to the effortless classic bridge and axe/switch we kept getting for a while. Though it's not like all of the bridge & switch encounters were bad. I especially enjoyed it in the chase format where it's about escaping rather than just getting on the opposite side of Bowser, such as in New Super Mario Bros. Wii & Super Mario 3D Land.

The Final Boss Theme is badass

This is now, hands down: My all time favorite theme & boss fight, in the history of Mario. I bopped my head to every last beat, when I fought Bowser in Wonder

at this point im starting to think Shigeru Miyamoto is a metal head and is incorperating every type of metal and rock out there we had metal bowser death metal bowser and now we have mosh pit bowser Shigeru really just reviving the metal genre

When the music starts up, and Bowser gets the crowd to start cheering, imagine Mario & Bowser’s friends & allies from the Smash universe, among the crowds cheering on both Team Mario & Team Bowser!

Bowser’s fights are always a spectacle and that’s why I love him.

First off, I love how the final battle felt less like a battle and more like an event. This is the closest you can possibly get to dancing in a mario game other than some animations. This is the closest Mario has gotten to an in-game comcert, tied with Odyssey, and both felt like events you just had to be there for. And then there's the fsct this sounds like music from doom of all things really made this so interesting in a good way.

If SiivaGunner ever did a rip of this, the joke would be One-Winged Angel, 100%.

If someone has to explain to me why I like this fight despite its simplicity, I'd say it's because it's got presentation that would make Megamind shake in his custom baby seal leather boots. It's a lot easier to enjoy games when you're not like "Yeah, yeah, yeah, but where's the CHALLENGE" for EVERY game, whether it's meant to be challenging or not. Who cares if you're a god gamer, this music is BUMPIN'.

Techno-metal feels a perfect fit for Bowser. Big ego, cool, but the treat feels strong. Any form of metal, really. Heavy metal, symphonic metal, and more. If they don't let Jack Black go full metal for a Bowser song in the second movie, then I know Illumination is run by cowards. Sometimes EPIC is needed more than funny.
