It's crazy that from that Himmel loved Frieren from that single moment when she showed him the field of flowers when he was a young boy. It's the reason he sought her out to be the mage of the Hero's party.

I probably wouldn't say Serei is an antagonist, as she really doesn't put any conflicts in Freriens' way. Frerien kinda dismisses Sereis point of view immediately never struggles with it. She's much more a Foil to Freriens character.

And thus we found out that the mana suppression Flamme taught didn’t matter, but instead it was the flower spell that defeated the Demon King. The spell created out of love of magic, friends, and family was more important.

I don't care at all about the Japanese title "SOUSOU NO Frieren" being Frieren: Beyond Journey's End! This anime is about funerals, but it's not the end of the journey. This guy is just having fun
