Out of all of them I like the little expressions he makes the most, puzzling it out, like at 4:07 onwards

In a way, it makes sense. Back in the end of Season 2 he had deep-seated fears that he was an unknowing Cylon hence the nightmares he was having. It could've been his subconscious telling him what he was from the beginning. So, having to grapple with this for longer then the others, it makes sense he'd be the first to accept, or at least come closer to accepting it then the others.

Don't be ridiculous. This entire plotline and the story were utter trash. Complete low quality writing, nonsense, plotholes as big as the Titantic's iceberg.

I noticed that too on my rewatch! Adama is exhausted and Tigh takes his shifts for him. It's subtle but it seems like Tigh just isn't as tired. Even though the cylons weren't planned from day one, it's cool how things like that end up landing so well.

I don’t see any resemblance to Joe Flanagan but he played a dark lighter in an episode of charmed. He was good villain in that episode.

Bullshit. This was a ridiculous, badly written soap opera. This final five nonsense broke the entire plot, made 0 sense whatsoever. Moore was a liar and he was incompetent; he promised a show he was not able to deliver due to his limited Star Trek writing skills. BSG was not well received during his airing, at least not after season 5. It was just a giant turd. Only dull and dumb fanboys liked it, the majority hated it for being so low quality and retarded.

Then it is possible that the Colonies are not people, but also Cylons, veeery ancient Cylons, only a different version, therefore they will not be identified.

@@Dan250 - Yes, that's the final revelation: They're ALL Cylons, originating thousands of years before on nuked Earth. The only thing that distinguished humanoid Cylons from the Colonists was getting downloaded and cloned by the Cylons' resurrection machine. Once that was demolished, all twelve "models" reverted to having individual human lifespans. And as for the often heralded Cylon Plan (orchestrated by Cavil), it was simply to trick them all into believing the humanoid Cylons were implacable robots, no different in nature than their Centurion and Raider minions. It was all a lie, and the Centurions' true allegiances became brutally apparent once they were released from their cybernetic lobotomizing restraints.

@@Dan250First there was Kobol. Made robots, who revolted, causing the diaspora to the thirteen colonies. The robots from that revolt settle the thirteenth colony, not-our-Earth. Over time, the thirteenth colony becomes more and more human-like, creates robots, who revolt. The handful of survivors (the four seen here plus Tigh’s wife) leave to warn the twelve other colonies not to make the same mistake, but it’s too late: the twelve colonies also made robots who revolted, and the “final five” from not-our-Earth arrive during the first Cylon war. Decades later, those cylons, having by become more human-like, attack again, starting the series we watched. There’s technically three robot revolutions, but they aren’t sequential cause-and-effect as two of them happened independently (the one in the twelve colonies and the one on not-our-Earth). At the end of the series, they’ve found a new planet (ours) that they also call Earth, and the survivors of all three parties (12 colonies humans, 12 colonies cylons, 13th colony cylons) plus the new planet’s natives settle/mix their gene pools, forming us. The implication is that a fourth robot revolution may happen in the (our) future. It’s not quite so clean of a cycle, of humans making robots which become humans who make robots. That happened on the 13th colony, but the population of the 12 colonies were the humans from Kobol just repeating the same mistake. They don’t have any robot heritage like the 13th colony does.

Sadly Paul Campbell let fame get to his head and left for other projects that turned out to be duds.

Because the fifth is being held hostage by Cavil at this point. She likely would have joined them if she were there. And the conversation might've been... interesting. Unless, of course, the activation for the four to arrive in that room only accounted for unawakened cylons and since the fifth was already awakened after New Caprica she may not have joined them in the room at all.

Agree! Having Boomer be a Cylon made sense. She had never known her parents etc. But these characters as Cylons made no sense (yes, I know the contrived, off the wall explanation about ancient Cylons) and ruined the psychological dramas and character arcs that made this such a good series. Too bad. Did the writers just get bored with the story?

This and the whole Starbuck returning as an angel thing. BSG goes down for me as one of those shows, like Lost and Westworld, that had an absolutely incredible start but devolved into an incoherent mess.

@@Leadbetter500 Science fiction lets you tell stories about identity, loyalty, decisions, life and death in different ways. Yes the final five and Starbuck storylines are a little silly, but I never had a problem with it. It's divisive, some people might never accept it and if it's true then Starbuck exploding is the point of no return for you but I'd still say a lot of the show is quite good if you can roll with it. Millions of people believe in fate, angels, reincarnation, etc etc.
