Luke - My wife and I watched your series as we prepared for our vacation in Sicily, and as we’ve now traveled from Trapani to Sciacca to Noto and Taormina we’ve been inspired by your tour. Your series was beautifully photographed, and we remain in awe of how you did all the camera work during the trip and how you managed to keep all the equipment in that little Ape. We only wish that the weather this May was as nice as it was for you during your adventure.

You made it…! Great editing, great cinematography, great story! Such a simple concept, delivered with the right amount of tension. We loved every moment and were captivated to the end. Bravo Luke!

World class from start to finish, amazing personality very smart and down to earth, voice over at utter perfection and some of the history narrated I never knew, amazing drone shots and authenticity of the Sicilian way of life portrayed at its best. The Ape kept us all excited till the end, this series felt like a high budget national geographic documentary, truly keep it up! We want more of this content!!

Hi Luke! i've just "bing watched" the whole serie and must say i love it. in the past 25 years i've been in Sicily at least 10 times, or even more, can't exactly remember. I love Sicily and the Sicilians, very great people. I'm from the very north of Italy but i'm living in Rome now for 40 years: Find out your channel because yesterday i had the pleasure to meet your parents here and i drove them around in Rome with a Golf Cart (hope they've enjoyed it!) and they told me about you. May one day on my next trip to Sicily we will meet there. Go on like that, really great, love it😃🤗

I can't believe your journey is over. What an epic adventure with the APE. Hopefully there is another Sicilian journey to come. Have you ever been to San Vito Lo Capo? It's heaven on earth. Nicest Beach in all of Sicily. I hope you post a video of it if you make your way there one day. Enjoy Sicily! We have just over 6 years left before we retire there.

Congratulations! Complimenti! Bravo!!! I truly enjoyed waking up every Sunday morning to watch the next episode of “Sicily by Ape”! Did you ever find out what the issue was that was plaguing the poor little Ape during the trip? I’m sure you got him tuned up. Curious to hear the diagnostic report.

Well, it looks to me like your Ape has a fuel system problem .. if there is a bit of rust in the tank sooner or later it will clog the fuel filters or get into the carb and clog the jets .. its simple to fix (clean) but you need a bit of mechanic skills and a few tools. Hope it's all fixed by now :))

LOVED the series Luke, congrats! What wound up being the issue with the Ape? :) I'd love to import one someday here to Nova Scotia...sadly our current road laws wouldn't let me register one for road use here yet, but that should be changing in the next few years!

I think you should have tried adding some carburetor cleaner to your gas and or cleaned or changed the spark plug . So what was the issue ? Thanks for the ride !
