@sethredmond9074 the grace period exists for the grenade thrower too its just significantly shorter. It's not about accidentally using an ability its about being shot straight away, works for both tho.

Bro that is an awesome idea. Don’t just give lights defibs but actually take away from Medium and give to light. This would go a loooong way in having lights bring huge utility. Lights currently do bring utility but since Mediums are god tier its almost impossible not to play Medium in ranked.

@@firstbreath1371 Yeah, i also think they should nerf defibs by making you walk really really slow while charging them and give them a longer cd. But i think it makes sense for the most mobile yet fragile character to have defibs.

@@CrunchesFPS I think people just dont utilize the best things that Light class can offer by playing in a wrong way. You have awesome acces to points because of explosive and controll by using glitch granade combined with stealth or dash. Meanwhile people play it like its Wraith from Apex and die wondering why the class is soo weak

@@firstbreath1371 Yeah, i agree that those are awesome and useful. But very hard to win ranked games with. You can’t play directly on point at all being a light, and yes you can get some good exterior angles but so can your entire team if a medium pads/zip lines them there. You provide barely any pressure at all and can be easily pressured off of/away from points, you provide wayyy less utility than the other two. A light that gets a lot of tricky/sneaky kills CAN win a game, a Medium/heavy that uses all their utility, plays objectively, doesn’t miss their shots WILL win the game. I’ve gone to the final round one time since i’ve hit plat where a light on the enemy team made it too. It was the easiest final game i’ve had since. Wallhack, three shot the light, insta res my teamates, there was nothing they could do because it’s a 3v2.

@THiiXY definitely a more skilled version that you can't just charge it from anywhere outside of line and then just throw it ..maybe must be close to the target for atleast a couple seconds

@ThiiXY definitely think they need a nerf as well, it makes some team fights feel so inconsistent when your against two or three mediums. Hide, insta res a guy who can insta res a second guy, the only real counter to it is actually recon as well so you can find them all while they are doing it. You get to a point in some fights (often long after the objective is finished) where it’s a battle of cycling defibs. It was actually fun the first couple of times but, especially in ranked, it’s tiresome.

@@CrunchesFPS I completely agree, I think this may actually be part of why recon is so popular. I don't ever have an issue with recon players otherwise. I almost think defib should go to light.

@CrunchesFPS Maybe after being revived twice, it puts you in a non rvive state that forces a token in ranked? That way, if you spam revive and die its extra token and if the revived guy keeps dying the team gets punished?

I get you, I mean realistically it would be hard to make "insane" skins that everyone liked every single week but if it was that way for alike a month it would be a problem, let's see what they cook up next week

Yeah I agree I think I said in my video something like a ping of that players position for example, I think I people were also saying like in rainbow six siege, if they move then they are pinged or something. Decent changes for QoL though

@THiiXY I'm over here just trying to understand why recon is the way it it's right now at all. We've already done trial and error on recon-like abilitys with R6S, Apex legends bloodhound, and other fps games. Why are we even making this mistake when theres been years of testing on this stuf, just seems extremely counter-intuitive. It's wasting Embarks time with trying to balance it, it's not a game killer though fortunately.

Yeah ranked system will likely be reworked for Season 2 but honestly right now the game isn’t competitive so I’m taking it as a casual game lol

It's weird, the game technically is very competitive, but the game itself (poor ranked, overnerfing and gamemode issues) really makes me think that right now they are continuing to keep pushing the game being a "casual" game instead of a competitive one if that makes sense. It's a strange scenario.

I do hope that they keep the gamemodes in casual to be played by casual players, ranked is ranked but you shouldn't be queued up against Diamond players etc if you wanna play ranked casually

Yeah 100% agree with you I think that they should actually consider an actual rework instead of just nerfing it. Like I still want it to be a viable option but they definitely did not address the actual problem of recon lol

I was hoping for a sonar ping instead but alas. This special fits a light more anyway since they want to flank. Not sure why all the recon stuff is on medium.
