Nice gameplay, really showcasing the use of gyro here. Have to ask tho, is that a stock joy-con? Or a third-party one? Would appreciate a link to it. Thanks!

Thanks! These are third party joycon by Binbok. They don't sell this type on Amazon anymore where I got them but these style of joycon are sold by lots of different brands like Doyoky, binbok, NYXI, and NexiGo as well

Did they remove the post from the sub? (Edit:nope I was looking in the finals sub instead of the gyro sub)Anyway great round and thanks for posting your mappings! Im still newish to gyro so tend to over complicate my mappings just not fully understanding some of the available options. Would love it of we got native gyro options in the game in the future.

Np! and yeah when it comes to mappings I like to keep it as simple as possible. Especially when trying to new games it's easier to go off a standard default layout and build from there. I'd love if it the game got native gyro and then put those people in PC lobbies with other m/kb or gyro players, that way there wouldn't be issues with trying to balance around aim assist

Makes me wish PS5 version had Gyro Aim 😢 The stick aiming is a little bit rough. You can tell the play style on console is very different from PC. Majority I play against are repping close range weapons with less need of precision aiming such as melees, flamethrowers, or shottys.

Yeah, PS5 should really have native gyro support and crossplay that with pc mkb/gyro players. My worry is with a fast paced, long TTK game like this they are just going to increase the aim assist levels for controller players to find it playable similar to what happened to Hyperscape.

@directedinput sadly yup. The AA has moments of being too strong but also unreliable. I only notice it at closer ranges but it can track kinda heavily and trying to make movements against the AA is not the most intuitive sometimes. Man I wish devs would just start getting on board more with this. Cuz there definitely is a fairly large player base that now has adopted Gyro Aim.

Gyro doesn’t feel right unless I have split controller like this. Can I use any joy cons with gyro on pc and rewasd? For example I see other controllers from hori and binbock. Was just wondering if they work well wirelessly and gyro setup.

The Hori split pad pro joycon do not have wireless or gyro so can't be used for this purpose. I would also avoid the NYXI Hyperion or any joycon that looks like them (rebrands etc) as they do not work on PC In my experience all Binbok and Doyoky joycon have worked on PC with reWASD. Official joycon do as well but if their firmware has ever been upgraded then they can suffer from intermittent lag issues
