Rob songer is in my opinion both as a time served bricklayer apprenticeship a million years ago in Salisbury technical college Salisbury wilts uk and a long haul truck driver that ran all over Europe and beyond now driving in usa this man is only one I've ever come across that really has an amazing understanding of the world of architecture when applied to bricklaying I've only ever seen comparable skills exhibited in Italy Greece and in part Portugal Spain man is bloody great artisan in top 5 percent worldwide in my book

That your kayak (canoe) in the background Rob? Awesome work. Thirty plus years in the trade and I wouldn't know where to start on something like that, We don't do that stuff here (US), very very seldom, might see a twisted chimney once in a while which I might be able to struggle through but I would be lost doing that. I'll probably never be a master mason at this stage of the game but I have the utmost respect for your someone who I consider to be one. Brilliant!
@robsonger17 жыл бұрын
Joe Quinn thank you so much, that means so much coming from a fellow trowel. ..and yes, it's my kayak and that will be back on my roof soon.

Too Cool! Your boat looks super responsive. I boated white water for a little while just ran of time for it. Most fun I ever had in my life. I go touring in the salt water when I get a chance it's close and fairly interesting. Puget Sound in Washington state. Your brick work is seriously phenomenal. All my training has been on the job.I'm just a residential guy. The Union has actual classes but I don't think they teach building twisted arches,I've never seen one anywhere but on your videos.Your very fortunate to have such a level of skill. Not many guys can do what we do but even fewer can do what you do.Thanks for responding, Take Care

Hello again, good to hear from you. I'm actually striking the arch centres tomorrow and I will have a short video to show it. I could include the previous one as well.
