2 жыл бұрынWell Here it is this is our Gretsch frontier satin Jim dandy Guitar that is going to Mr. John Gigante in New York this guitar will not be released until October of this year in the United States. John was able to contact folks in England, purchase a guitar and have it sent directly to me for modification …! Both the Rhythm And the Lead Line were played on this guitar.., think it came out beautiful…🎶❤️🎶

What a beautiful guitar Jeff..those tuners look just like my Dads Hofner Verithin ones with that vintage look..super sound as well..Have Gretsch asked you to work for them yet haha : D

Just recently got this model, same finish, also from NY. 😀 Question - why the floating tailpiece? What does it do for the sound? Thanks and love your work!

Thanks for the comment..👍🏻 the dobro style tail piece takes all of the tension off of the top of the guitar. Now the strings are connected to the back of the guitar….! As for a difference in sound , I have found, (depending on what strings you use) , a increase in sustain, especially if you have it modified with a magnetic pick up…! Chris… You can buy a pre-wired acoustic guitar pick up with the volume and tone controls and the input jack…👍🏻 On Amazon…🎶 some are Better than Others…! Most of the guitars I do in my Videos, I have changed the electrical components because the customer request a vintage Strat style pick up, or a Lipstick pick up…! But my very first video I posted about modifying a Jim Dandy Guitar, had strictly a acoustic guitar kit I purchased from ( All Parts ) in Texas…🎶🎸🙏🏻👍🏻 Jeff…..🎓
