Great questions! It usually varies. If there are adequate rests in between the said exercises doing it after wouldn't have an impact. However, for those who might want to set a schedule and will have less time in between for rests. strength training is ideal first and also after a slow-medium intensity run is also better. Once or twice a week is a typical split (depending on how deep you go and your recovery abilities.)

Any specific books you revommend about stretching, flexibility, mobility?

Hmm...I've actually learned a lot more from videos + mentors + personal practice. This is a much more useful "wisdom." There are certainly many books out their on stretching that can give a little theoretical background though. Kelly Starrett's "Supple Leopard" book, Kit Laughlin's books are good.

Sometimes. Have you tried doing some tissue work and warm up stretches before doing the splits?

I know there’s a video that says it’s possible to do the splits with hip impingement but do the stretches differ???

I've found my body responds to "Loaded Stretching" and building strength at end-range more than traditional "wait out the tension" stretching. That's why I have a 45-day program about "Loaded Stretching"
