The FIRST EVER train from Edinburgh Waverley to Leven on the brand new Levenmouth Rail link

In this video we are on the first ever train to depart from Edinburgh Waverley towards Leven. Departing from Waverley at 09:15 on the 2nd of June 2024 we make our way over the Forth into Fife and onto the brand new Levenmouth railway. The new line has 2 brand new stations, Cameron bridge and Leven.

(Disclaimer: I don't usually like to put music over my videos but there was far too many people talking due to the popularity of this service with it being the first ever train to arrive into Leven)

@@just_some_guy_innit I love the East Neuk. I would love to have my own little house through there. I was at St Monans for a holiday way back in 2007 and I’ve still never forgot about it. Thanks for telling me about Leven. I wasn’t too sure if it was part of the East Neuk or the gateway into it lol.

They could have at least put a decent new train on the new line instead of that 30 year old banger of a class 158.....Typical Scotrail, cost cutting to the extremes.....Decent vid though apart from the crap music being way too loud :-)

What decent 'new' diesel trains train do ScotRail have? Their last delivery of 'new' diesel trains were the 170s about 20 years ago.
