It's a good way of using a VISUAL that gives you something to hold onto while he talks. If you just had that sheet afterwards and hadn't heard the "speech" you would be like um.. what is this? Lol do you have a MIN a few questions so I don't waste your time. By asking the questions he is already wasting time. They "sound" like experts meaning no need to be an expert just the perception of it. Hence all the medical jargon at the start of the video. HEY this guy knows stuff he did research he must know more? What's good about these is it tells you how to recognize people doing these things so you can avoid falling into them.

I use this method everyday on the phone. Amazing, 1. Sharp as a tack, 2. Enthusiastic and 3. Expert...powerful if you take incoming calls for quotes! Good thing I don't have to go further down the SLS because I close in the first 4 seconds. Anyone want to role play with JB's info hit me up

This applies to cold emailing too. You have 4 seconds to hook the prospect and get them to the next sentence. Clock resets. Every syllable has to count and be there for a reason. Attention spans have been on a steady decline since 2004 so it’s more important than ever to establish your value / hook quickly. Made a video on this called UX for cold emails on my channel. Exciting time to be in sales right now 👍🏼

"Each step of the Syntax" so true, new people think that by just memorizing an opening pitch is all you need to do. Hell no, once you got that down solid and you get people on the hook you need to be consistent with everything you say moving forward, without hesitation, on point.

Jordan, or anyone who can help, I get this concept. I agree with it 100%. What I struggle with is tangible application. What can I do or say or not do or say to win that first for seconds more often? In other words how do I maximize the chances that they instantly perceive me as being sharp as a tac, enthusiastic as hell and an expert? I'm a door to door salesman and as such many people already have a pre conceived snap judgment even before the first four seconds.

You can’t control that entirely. Offset that variable with volume. Most people won’t buy. Anything. That’s a given. But it doesn’t matter. When you find the people who do, they are typically repeat customers. Enough repeat customers and you’re going to do well.
