I imagine that after this fiasco, the Empire decided to make a planetary shield for Scarif to keep all the records safe because if the home of the Inquisitors is getting busted into, what good's a bunch of Officers and Shoretroopers?

I saw a lot of people saying it was a bad thing because they followed the same beats of Cal's mission in the show, but I thought it was great. I also love fallen order, so seeing they continuing, even indirectly, that story was fantastic and showed some level of care

OH NO! We didn’t just break in with Cal Kestis, we snuck in a companion! Went on a tour, ate at the food court, even got some really cool Sith souvenirs from the gift shop!! 😎 But I guess Obi was in a rush..🤔..still though he could’ve at least stopped by that gift shop.

I found that it said something, that this group didn't know that a previous Jedi Padawan had already managed a daring break-in of the secret complex. I'm guessing that Cal and his Friends never really make direct contact with the members of The Path. Like others have said, I hope the creators/writers of JEDI: Fallen Order receive writing credits for episode 4 of Obi-Wan Kenobi, since so much of it relied on previous material.

The chamber where Trilla was tortured is actually a different one that looks much like the one in Kenobi. May be the same one.

I wonder what happened to the facility after Return of the Jedi. Did the First Order use it to train Stormtroopers, and train Kylo Ren and Snoke's Guards?

I’ll be quite frank: It seems like the Empire actually learned nothing about improving security from Cal’s break in 5 years before Kenobi. 1) Air/Space Control: What happened to the planetary blockade, why wasn’t the Path’s ship shot down or found ahead of time, why are there not air traffic control sensors to see what ships are coming in, why are there no TIEs flying patrol patterns 2) Water: Why are there still massive and minor glass panels looking out at Nur’s waters throughout the entire base, Cal half flooded the facility, and used water as a key mechanism, for his getaway years earlier.

Why am I not surprised a video about Cal was made after the references last episode haha. Although I can't lie I immediately thought of Cal when they talked about the Fortress too. I can't wait to see him again in Jedi Survivor! I assume the fact that Cal attacked the Fotress previously isn't widely known which is why Roken and the Path assume it's never been hit. That lines up with it being a secret facility. I also think they may have relocated the Fortress after Cal's assault which is why it's in the middle of the ocean now rather than on a landmass with Mustafar visible behind it as it was in the game, which was a shot that was really striking to me. I've seen a lot of comparisons and criticism of the Fortress' appearance compared to Fallen Order, which I don't feel is really fair consider it was a game and locations need to look cool and flash and fun to explore, which is not the context for Kenobi, it needs to be grim and dull and considering how much of the Fortress was damaged by Cal in the game, I can see them just building a new one with upgraded security, which was a nice touch that Tala had to unlock the port for Obi-Wan whereas Cal just swam in. Even if the infiltration felt identical, it still made sense to the larger timeline, which I appreciate. Regardless, I loved how it was portrayed, the fact that it was used in the story and how it looked. It felt as it should have been to me and I like how they're expanding on it with the tomb/trophy room, which, granted, is morbid but such a shocking twist.

Actually the first Jedi (plural in this case) to break in was Cal and Cere. But maybe the difference with me is that I consider Cere a Jedi as much as Cal is.

This is a perfect place to be explored in the "Mandoverse" maybe by Luke or Ashoka. Finding all the dead bodies of Jedi to give them proper cremations to make them become one with the Force.

Episode 4 of Kenobi has Fallen Order vibes where a Jedi infiltrates Fortress Inquisitorious and retrieve back something of value.

I also think that there’s an interesting theme going on with the inquisitors fortress being underwater and Baders castle being near lava I don’t know what it means and it’s probably just coincidental but there’s some interesting opposites going on there I think Or maybe I’m just overthinking it completely but hey I’m a Star Wars fan that’s my job

Great video. Maybe the reason the rebels even know about this Fortress is thanks to Cal! Technically he didn’t “attack” it, he just infiltrated to steel the holicron, right? Or was his goal to destroy it? I wished Rekon would have said something like “We have intelligence on the Fortress through General Kestis” (or General Junda).

I assume its not designed to be tough to break into but rather impossible to break out from - Like any good prison. One only wish that the empire would had invest as much in washing out the less than clever officers and stormtroopers as they do on keeping theyre walkways clean and armor shiny cause some of the tricks they fall for are really on a childs level. Is the Path related to the paths the Nihil use in the High Republic? Could this be the fate (or offshoot) of the Nihil - having secret hyper lanes that the Empire can't track would be handy for hiding Jedi.

My issues with this show are no longer minor

And is Very Likely to Happen. -Grand Inquisitor Reva, Grand Inquisitor stays dead -Final fight between Reva and Kenobi -Kenobi may return to Tatooine and remain there after these events. -Leah MAY show case a force ability or someone may remark how strong she is in the force. What Will Not Happen and what is HIGHLY unlikely -Clone Wars flash back -Seeing or hearing mention of Cody -Seeing Quin Lin Voss - Qui Gon making an appearance -Cal making an appearance or any more references to Fallen Order. -Bounty hunters perusing Kenobi -Luke and Kenobi conversing -The Grand Inquisitor alive. -Reva dying off - The Emperor - 5th brother fight scene, vs Obi-Wan or even a Saber ignition from any other Inquisitor We've two more episodes left. Only what can happen WILL happen.
