Somewhat Movie could have been shorter with less long drawn out scenes. Movie has an additional alternative scene that has no mention in the original Some gore birthing sequence and more gore Movie is a C+ and doesn't have the same psychological gravitas as the original Has some scenes that are call back to original done not so good Accidents happen but there is no follow up that would normally happen I would have made the scene where the father lost part of his brain more realistic with the roof workers panicking and coming to his aid I will have included Mrs blaylock as the caregiver to Sciana and had her play a Minor role. I would have made the scene where a beasts hand come out of the vagina a dream sequence rather than reality I would have had Margaret give birth to a jackal and inside the jackal is Damien only I would have shown the devil in a non CGI form during the impregnation scene. I would not have let Margaret or her sister live and have the alternative scene with the twin sister exist. Because this would not explain the antichrist exist with a twin sister, aunt and mother that is aware of his existence and have them live the rest of their days in an isolated house. Oh and how did father Brennan find them. The reasoning for the antichrist birth should be about Armageddon not to scare people back to church considering the purpose of the antichrist which is to wreak hell on Earth. I would have cut out any long drawn out scenes and made it a 1.5 hour movie

That's a question I asked myself. It left me asking myself so my questions like, is this thing supposed to be the Jackal, where did it come from, did the cultists capture it or did they summon it from Hell? If this is supposed to be the actual Jackal found in the grave, it certainly didn't look like what is in the original film as it looks too much like a demon rather than a dog.

The jackal wasn't simply an animal, it was the beast (Satan) himself. Satan can appear as or possess any form that he likes; as a great dragon, snake, lion, wolf, or any other beast, object, or being that he wants. Once the unholy spirit was done with the jackal, it was dispatched (set on fire) as it wasn't useful anymore. Possessing and controlling animals are far easier than humans. Look at the whole history of animals throughout the Omen series.

Highly doubtful as not only would that be ridiculous to have Margarita be the hero to stop Damien, there is also the fact that any threat to Damien's existence would be instantly eliminated by satanic forces or one of Damien's followers.

That would be great casting having Dan Stevens play Damien. He's very charismatic, but can be scary in the same time, (The Guest).

If they redo Omen 3 and Omen 4, together in one movie, that would be ok for me. Both had good concepts, but the executions were flawed. I could see the twin being the nun in the omen 4.

If they did this; woke Hollywood, would be salivating. They'd hijack the storyline and a grown up Damien would wear a Maga hat.

​@user-he3op5pi6i Truth ... the corporate Disney studios clearly don't know or understand the role the Antichrist plays. He is supposed to usher in Armageddon. That's in the Book of Revelations. Also, there are clear political ties in the Bible, which the original movie picks up on, since Damien is adopted by a diplomatic family.

Some people were threatening to boycott the movie because they assumed there wasn't even going to be a jackal but some sort of ritual where Margaret just falls pregnant with the Antichrist, so i'm happy that the jackal was still represented in the movie. It's supernatural anyway, just pretend the jackal was female lol

Exactly. I completely forgot about the mural prophesying Damien's rise in Omen 2 as it shows that The Omen movies were about Damien and not some characters that never existed in the original movies. The makers of this prequel could have just focused on Satanists preparing to bring forth the antichrist but no, they went full Star Wars with the ending and gave us a twin sister known as Layla which does sound a bit like the name Leia. If people enjoyed the prequel, that's fine but I will never like this movie because of how they screwed up the ending.

I think it adds to the lore nicely. It never takes away from Damien being the antichrist, but adds more, by showing that he chooses to follow the path place in front of him. There's elements presented in the Omen 2 with that and could be explored more in other films.

All they have to do is discount them. Eliminate them from canon. I don't think there's official word that they're necessarily going to include them.

All the sequels could be left alone and have movies that focus on them hiding from the evil sec of the church, while the evil sec is fighting among the true satanists. Also the twin storyline could be used to add to part 4, or remake it. Honestly, Omen 4 was a tv movie that had a good idea, but needed a better budget and director.

i was thinking it can be retconned in that they just buried the bones of the jackal in the mothers place to throw off anybody who would try to figure out what happened to the “mother of the baby?” when finding out she wasnt dead? i like the idea of the jackal being the father WAY more.

When the twin was revealed, I thought of omen 4 and she could be used to be Delia's mother.

The files they took showed all the attempts they had made to have kids with the mark, marget and carlita were 2 successful ones, seems like they always attempted in June on the 6 at the 6th hr. Hope that helped you

I would like to see a power play between the false church and the true satanists, for control over Damien. For example, why the nanny kill herself to be replaced by Mrs. Baylock? Maybe, they weren't from the same organization.

@@ladisneyprincesse It wouldn''t really work. Inventing a twin sister for Damien has really been done to make sure that future sequels have them interacting with each other. Omen 2 and 3 need to be ignored and alternative sequels (common in horror films thesedays) made!
