His sisters governed, Aegon was just a figurehead (might not even have been his dream to conquer tbh) Aegon got all the credit because he was a man. But Visenya and rhaenys undoubtedly did more after AC, fire and blood gave us that narrative not me. Aegon established the small council, but outside of that fact he wasn't involved much in ruling the irone throne.
