I'll never forget the first and only time I ever saw my dad cry. When my grandfather died. He looked at me and told me "Papa's gone...he died". Being 12-13 my instant reaction was "no he didn't"......and I saw a tear on his face and he just simply looked back at me and said "yeah"..............................my life changed that day.

I never met or knew my biological dad. I was adopted by another father, a real loving and caring one. It doesn't matter how you were brought into this world, it's how you end it and live it. great video as always Goalcast!

Because my grandfather he was such a great guy, he helped me with my School and my hard times and all That, but one Day, my father came to me and Said, Grandpa is On the hospital, he felt when he woke up in the morning On the table, he Got a head injurie. Next Day around 3 am after School my dad came to me and Said “Your grandfather died today.” I cried so much, it was like my life was over. #ILoveYouGrandpa😍 #RIP GrandPa - 1929-2016 😢

Good Story

The first time I saw my father die was the day, we went to say goodbye to my grandfather it was the last time in our life we would ever see him, the last time we would be able to see his smile, to hear his voice, to hold his hand. He had cancer for a year at that time and we all said our goodbye as we cried but my dad stayed strong until it was his time to say goodbye he got on his knees and layed his head on his father’s lap, he broke down crying (right now I can feel the tears coming down my eyes that’s just how much it hit me), he asked for his blessing and he finally said goodbye, never in my life have I seen my father never, he had never broken down never shed a tear, he always stayed strong and composed but that day and the next day were the only two times my father ever cried. My grandfather stayed at peace and passed away peacefully that night. He showed me and showed my dad what the example of a man is and he taught the entire family what family, faith, love and hard work means. That’s the only time I believe it was worth crying never in my life had I believed there was anything my dad would shed a tear for nothing but that just changed me in a way I can explain. I don’t know if people agree with me but the moment you see your father cry it changes you in some way it just makes you different.

Seing your dad cry changes your life. He supposed to be a superhero and when he shows weakness it changes your perspective, not only on him, but on life. He told me he was sorry for being a bad father, i said he did all he could. And i will always love him. Regardless..

I saw my dad cry for the first time in my life when they were carrying my grandmother out of the house to her burial. He didn't cry when he was with her dying, he didn't cry when she died, but he cried when she was leaving. He knew it was the real time to say goodbye for his beloved mother. He isn't the type of a guy to show up his emotions in front of others, even his family. But at that moment he let it all out. You can't imagine how that broke my heart seeing him like that. She always used to tell us how a good son he was, and we witnessed it, his relationship with her, how he treated her, how he always went for her first before coming to us.

He is a great storyteller! Made his message that much more clear.

I’ve never really seen my father cry, i know he has no tears left. You don’t want to know what a man’s face looks like when you know they want to cry but are too broken to do it. Never want to see that again. Proud of him nowadays.

2:07 I saved my dads life with my sister when we were 3&5. He had a stroke.

i got academically dismissed bc if bad academic standing, as an international student. i didnt know how to tell my dad about how i was getting back to the country bc i was dismissed. i felt devasted bc one thing my dad wanted was to me to stay in the university as a winner. but now i felt lost and i felt my whole world coming down at me, as if everything was falling apart right in front of me. i will leave this country tmrw i dont know what my dad's reaction will be

I watched this last year and hoping my dad would say he was proud of me on his death bed but unfortunately he passed November 6th 2020 8 days before his dad so dad I miss you 🕊🕊🕊

I found my dad dead of a massive heart attack..your story is so heartbreaking..my mom called asked why dad didn't pick her up from work..instantly I knew something was wrong I got and drove 100mph home found him in the yard..my mom waz in shock..i had to call 911 and do CPR all mom could do was say please save him please don't stop I continued till I knew he was gone the 911 lady was crying I just kept going knowing it was to late ..emts got there took him to the hospital and my heartbroken again as my mom and my dad's wife of 41 yrs was told he was gone..what was weird is I never left him alone until that day something told me there was somthing wrong with that day from the time I woke up.i asked my dad if he felt fine he said yeah I left the house almost turned around but again something told me to just go..i usually don't leave him that long but once again something told me to stay a lil longer..then my mom called and I instantly knew he was gone..those feelings that whole day was God protecting and putting me were I needed to be i truly believe..i got those feelings 2 other times and came home and saved him..so I believe God knew it wasn't to be this time so he kept me away..

Facebook told me "the hardest feeling is to see your mom cry". No, i saw my mom cring so much that i become somehow immune. But when i saw my dad cry at the funeral of my grandpa it was...... one of the most heart breaking moments of my life.

The first time I saw my father cry was when we were watching the movie coco. That’s one of the reasons I absolutely love the movie.

I've seen my dad cry twice in my life. The first time was when his best friend passed away when I was 15. The second was last month when his older brother passed away. Its only been a month and I remember it vividly like it just happened seconds ago. We're a catholic family so we held a rosary the night before the funeral for my uncle. It was the end of the night and we were packing up and heading back to grandma and grandpa's house. Hed made an in memoriam video of his brother and he attached two songs to it and the second song he had synced the last line of the song ( meet you on the other side) with this last clip of my uncle at eight years old waving to the camera. that was playing in the funeral home TVs in the little chapel. So he and I were getting some of the flowers to take to the car after the rosary and were walking toward the door and he notices the song is about to end and he turned back to look at my uncle laying in the coffin just as that last line played and that's when he completely broke down. He didnt cry when he knew his brother was deathly ill, he didnt cry when he watched his brother pass, he cried right at that moment because it became real. It was the final goodbye. Hes not an emotional man but seeing him break down those times taught me that it's ok to show emotion and and that you cant hold it back forever

First time I seen my dad cry was today, me and my mom have been in a huge fight so my dad came to talk to me but after a while he started breaking down because he had just got a new job and he was making less then my mom, my mom and him get in fights all the time and he feels as if he failed and it’s very hard for him. He had been raised to be the man in the relationship but he feels like a beta.
