The Harbour wall in Hastings. An alternative to fishing Hastings Pier.
Pollack, mackerel, garfish, plaice anf flounder can be had here

I've fished there many times good spot i left a square burn mark on the floor after a pallet fire one night good fun either side of the pier is good and down at stamco st Leonard's is another good spot happy fishing people

i worked on that wall in the 80s anchoring it togeather we had to work when tide was lowest

Nice video. Maybe mentioning the Car Parking rates at the time of it being filmed would be beneficial to most anglers. This can help viewers decide whether this venue is competitive with others. We only need see a still shot of the car-park prices sign and we can 'pause' on it. Thanks.

Thanks for that great idea, ill start doing that in future. I must admit car parking is a relevant factor for me. This part of Hastings is a tricky spot but out of season at the front you can park for 20 p an Hour so its worth walking from there. Ill also have a look around for some seaky free parking spots, the Parking wardens are terrible here and really bring this great town down! Thanks again for taking the time to comment and your suggestion will be followed in later videos. Tight lines

I wouldn't recommend going in the gap, I tried it before and my line got stuck. There are a lot of muscles on those rocks and you can be easily snagged if you aren't careful.

No I’m not Haven’t fished pier since I was a kid ,we used to go on the lower deck I am aiming to get on there soon

Yea im afraid so, the out door centre has moved round the corner but it does sell lug and a few basics. Best bet is to Head for the Angling centre near this mark.

This mark in effect is no longer here as the gap in the wall has been filled in !
