Yugouliang is a village of fewer than 100 people in north China’s Hebei Province. The average age of Yugouliang residents is 70. They make a living by tending to their cows and sheep and small plots of land. The village’s secretary Lu Wenzhen has turned to yoga to bring health, vitality, and tourism to the fading, remote hamlet of Yugouliang.
