Everyone would probably do the same thing. But i do think that Future Iris will either come to the present for Nora.Or our Iris decides not to keep the powers a secret from Nora. Effectively changing the course of the events in the future.

And like others have said, Nora is impulsive and headstrong. If her behavior is any indication, she's just as inexperienced before she came to see her father. At least in her time, she had other heroes to follow their lead, but she's nearly gotten herself killed several times with Flash. It might even be that Cisco made the device so Nora could learn to be human before superhuman and wait for Barry to get back to train her.

Love only seems cruel until it stops, she may think her mom did it for no good reason but something will come along to show why later in the season.

Her decision, depending on how the story is fleshed out, doesn't seem like a dumb or selfish reason, more like a scared but smart woman doing what she feels like she has to do to protect her child.

No one would have been able to help Nora go through being a true speedster growing up because Barry wasn’t around. And when she finally did discover her powers she went to the single most untrustworthy and worst speedster who she knew was her father’s worst enemy. I can understand why she felt that way but she constantly showed great examples of why it was the right thing to do because of her actions

I agree with you but what Nora never understood is that Iris in the present isn't the Iris in the future........even barry said something like that in the next episode.

U r 25 years old she should be a get yes but Nora could have got herself killed and yes she should have told her the truth when she's 18, but taking it out on past iris for what she is not the bad guy after her husband goes missing what do u expect we don't know what happened she had a good reason and eho told her unless it is Cisco catlin or part of team flash I don't trust it...

Probably Reverse Flash disguised as the Flash museum curator. Sherlock Wells implied that someone in the future gave her the idea to run back in time and it was also said that Nora spent most of her time in the Flash museum with this curator that knew a lot about Flash. So knowing that, naturally you can assume that the curator/RF also told her about her powers

Kasper in the comics reverse flash did ran be museum in the far future which gave him the idea to go back in time to become the flash but ended up the reverse flash they might be using that storyline. Plus the writers did say the reverse flash is coming back in the story. It would be cool

thawne probably taught her ways to move throughout the speedforce without the time wraiths noticing her. But they did go after her on the episode her and barry time traveled.

Instead, Nora spent several episodes trying, but failing, to act normal around her mother, someone she is still clearly extremely angry at, and Iris managed to pry the information out of her, and then tried to justify her future self's actions with obvious nonsense. Because, uh, Iris? If even Nora had been mind-controlled...ignoring the fact that humans are actually still dangerous without super-powers so letting people keep mind-control them is stupid and how the hell did they get a chip in her while mind-controlled and she was mind-controlled for decades and what part of this is making sense...Nora would _still know she had powers_, you idiot. I understand exactly why Iris said what she said. I understand why Barry stood next to her. That doesn't somehow make Nora's angry invalid or stupid...in fact, she's entirely justified at being anger over _having something implanted in her to cripple her_. And I find this entire idea she's yelling at the 'wrong Iris' moronic, because she probably _yelled at the correct one_ before coming back here, and then, onscreen, in front of everyone, spent a lot of time _really trying_ not to yell at this one. Trying to be polite, even trying to be loving. It's just when Iris not only forced the issue, but then tried to _justify_ her future behavior (Despite having literally no information about it), that Nora got angry.

Not to mention that Nora is treating Iris as if she's already done it, showing her the scar and calling her out as if she somehow expects her mother's past self (who doesn't even have kids yet) to know what her future self did. Nora should at least be telling her as a warning not to do it in the future instead of lashing out at the wrong Iris who has nothing to be sorry for
