And maybe Barry just missed her so much that he named his daughter Nora. At least he has one, right? I'm jk jk lul. But seriously, jokes aside, that's the way I think it plays out.

BigBird_Fly well for instance the changing it back from flashpoint made it so that Joe and iris didn’t get along, Cisco’s brother is dead and a few other things so the name change of Dawn to Nora because of that makes sense but it’s just my theory and opinion

The reason cavanaugh was weird was because he wasn’t trying to play or act nice like Wells, he only took his appearance again in the crossover but Cavanaugh was trying to portray Matt’s version of thawne. So what they were trying to do was have blonde reverse flash look like wells but the personality of the blonde one
