The Flash Changed My Life (A Tribute)

I don't usually make scripted videos and have never edited anything like this, but I needed to make this one. The Flash has meant so much to me over the years and I needed to make this more for me than anyone else. Regardless, I hope someone got something out of watching me be sappy for 15 minutes.

I’m still happy that despite the fact that the final fight was barely a fight at all and there’s no point anymore for me to even talk about it I love the actual quote on quote “final ending” to the final season. You know, the part where Barry is talking to Nora about believing in the impossible. That was of course the most noteworthy thing to come out of this episode and thank god that last scene at least turned out good honestly.

This show is what really got me into all kinds of my passions. Editing, essays, comic book superheroes, heck, even just writing long a$$ essay styled documentary videos on my main channel that in reality I hated writing as they are very tedious to make as of why as someone who owns multiple KZfaq channels I upload more on others, but still when I was at my lowest moment this show lifted me up too. Now to call it my lowest moment is kinda a stretch because it’s not like anything bad has happened to me in the last couple years, however I was kind of lost before I watched this show honestly. This was around a year before I wanted to rebrand as a whole new channel as my first KZfaq channel was so amateur and I was still so young I had no idea what I wanted to do with my life. Luckily though this show has inspired many of my future plans I’ve luckily been able to write down for myself because of modern technology and it really helped me take my mind off things as before realistically not to long before just getting into The Flash things weren’t going too well between me and my friends and this show honestly as little as it impacted my life my future could’ve turned out completely different despite the fact that I’m young and my quote on quote “future” is still in a few years.

Also my lord can we just mention seasons 1-3 for a moment. Those seasons were during a time where the show was constantly praised by fans for completely obvious reasons even despite the fact that let’s say towards season 3 the show already was going downhill as viewed by the general public who didn’t care for the show as much as us, as we’d all later learn that if we thought season 3 was bad, oh boy we took things for granted. Although Savitar however is still not my favorite villian despite admittedly of course being one of the best though. This show used to be so original and it was truly amazing. The way they transferred Hunter Zolomon from the comics into the show was seriously beyond us fans. If you read a Flash comic with Wally West as The Flash and not Barry Allen, and then watched season 2 of The Flash you literally would not recognize Zolomon as they literally took the name of a old classic comic Flash villian and completely reworked him into something original. I love how much of a menace Zoom was in this show. How his suit was all black with his quote on quote “eyes” only being due to the reflection of the light hence why in some scenes one side of his cowl his white pupils gazing into your soul would be brighter on whichever side was closer to the camera and the other would be darker. I loved his voice changer, heck I loved his voice when he put on the cowl in general like the way he spoke in such a iconic way where while some scenes for whatever reason he’d speak pretty fast, I loved him when he put on the cowl and sometimes it felt like he was speaking more slowly with more pauses. I love little things about the show like Reverse Flash was always phasing/vibrating in season 1, and how Zoom was always literally sparking with his bright blue lighting because he was high on speed drugs, they used to honestly be so clever with this show especially when in season 1 they actually used to use real life science in the show.

Oh my God...this was so wonderfully heartfelt and honest 😭 I really appreciate you having the courage to post something so genuine for us all because if we're being completely honest, I feel the same way you do about these characters.b Yeah sure, sometimes the storylines weren't perfect or the arcs didn't make the most sense, but that didn't matter because they still brought a certain comfort to me that only this show ever could when I was doubting myself the most. And Barry and Grant themselves truly changed my life in a way I can't even fully explain. Thank you for posting this. It was just perfect. And always remember: "nothing is impossible as long as we believe in it." ❤💛❤💛❤

Thanks for sharing, I never properly appreciated this show until the break between seasons 6 and 7, and I tried my best to cherish those seasons until the end, and I really appreciated the entire show by that point.

Hey there, I really enjoyed your video. Everything you talked about really had me in tears. I’ve never commented on anyone that I don’t know’s video, but I had to say something about this one, I think it’s going to make a great impact in my own life to revisit. When season 9 ended, I was just so mad how they rapped it up, but this video made me realized how great this show was for my childhood. I’m thankful I stumbled upon this video and I’m very thankful for Team Flash. Not just for an awesome show, but for changing my life in many ways. Thank you for this incredible video!

i know what you mean by barry and team.flash being your famly i could spend hours talking about why similar to growing up with barry changed me in such little time but all ill say is barry allen will FOREVER UNTIL I LEAVE THIS LIFE WILL BE MY LIGHTING ROD
