The zombie virus along with max could trancend it's physical form. As soon as max merges with the speedforce, turning into a phenomenon. We're lucky, the writers decided not to go this route.

@@unholytheunchoosenone That makes sense. But that also means there is always a possibility that this Max could comeback from the speedforce and become a zombie again. Worse there's no way to tell what place, time or universe he would end up in.

The problem is, a speedsters healing is just a normal humans bur faster. They cant out heal what normal humans cant. People like slade however are different. They have a healing factor that clears it out of there bodys by essentially reseting themselves. Thats why slade survives and cures himself

@@_aWiseManthey do have regenerative abilities it not just normal speed or anything it not just speed they are given yes they can repaint limbs or anything that magnitude

@@_aWiseMan This is so not true. They healing factor is faaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaar more efficient than whatever regular humans have. The injuries that would be fatal to the "regular folk" are just minor inconvenience for the speedsters. Barry, for example, survived 2000 feet underwater and his healing factor kept him alive. Do you think that you can survive something like that? OR, when he had his hand CRUSHED and was seen few minutes later totally fine? Most people, who had their hand CRUSHED, if they survived trauma, needed to have said arm amputated. IF they survived the amputation(no complications), they are still one hand down. Wally is capable of nearly instantly healing ANY injury. That means that he not only capable of surviving what would be fatal to the "regular human", but he is also capable of healing it completely and without any help.

Or just use his heat vision witch would cut through flash like butter don’t go flying at him just look perpendicular at flashes path and close line him with a laser

@@airrider-jk9ik I really love Blackest Night as it feels like a grand conclusion to the Geoff Johns Green Lantern run, even though Johns would continue writing the run. I do really like the concept of the Black Lanterns and how it brings back dead characters as a way of psychological torture for the protagonists and at the end fully restores dead characters in a more satisfying explanation. I do feel like the story is a bit lacking in subtext to make it truly great, as I feel like they could really tell a powerful story, even though I do love the event to begin with.

The thing was, even a single speedster getting infected was much more dangerous then anything in the galaxy, so really the best plan was to take them out of play completely.
