The real top 3 is supposed to be 3- Flash 2- RF 1- Black Flash Here’s why: The flash is technically the fastest speedster, but isn’t because the two above him have their speed relative to his. RF is second because according to his origin story he gets his powers using the Flash’s suit as a part of his test. Therefore, now matter how many times Barry gets faster, the origin of the RF will have it that he is the same speed at whatever his current speed is. But the reason why RF is tied like Black Lion said is because the RF is a much more smarter and experienced speedster. While Barry may know a lot of things about the speed force and his powers, The RF as had more than a decade of experience to his advantage, making him a little bit faster than Barry. The reason why the Black Flash is actually the fastest speedster actually makes sense if you think about it. The Black Flash is the servant and enforcer of the speed force itself. Since the Speedforce gives its power to all speedsters, it can give as much speed needed to the Black Flash in order to give it the speed needed to kill whichever speedster it’s hunting. So no matter how fast any speedster gets, the Black Flash can be given more speed than them since the speedforce can do whatever they want. This is proven by the fact that the only people in the arrowverse to have defeated the Black Flash; RF, Flash, and Savitar, did not outrun it, but instead they outsmarted it. Barry pulled some clever maneuvers on it, RF used the spear of destiny, and Savitar used Killer Frosts ice powers to keep it at bay. Therefore, the Black Flash is the “technically” the fastest speedster

1. The thing with Season 1 and 2 Barry and Eobard, was that Eobard was using the Speed Equation to run much faster than Barry, but in 2x17 Barry learned about the Speed Equation, and since then they've always been equals. I know in 2x23 & 3x01 (same scene) Barry beat Eobard, but that could've been due to element of suprise). 2. Barry, in Seasons 1 and 2, didn't had as strong of a connection to the Speed Force as Eobard Thawne had to the Negative Speed Force, so Eobard Thawne was able to siphon Speed Force from Barry at a faster pace than Barry was generating it, so that's why he was always a tad bit faster than Barry, that is until Season 4 when Barry gets a massive boost to his connection to the Speed Force, and so now, Barry is able to generate Speed Force at a faster pace than the pace Eobard can siphon it from him, so that's why, now Barry is always a tad bit faster than Eobard (Sorry for my bad english).

Call me insane but I don't think RF as Harriso Wells in S1 was a full Fledged speedster. He was more like an artificial speedster. Why ? Let me explain my point. When the RF and Future barry travelled back in time and RF killed Nora, at that moment the whole timeline changed. The flash would never be born and hence RF wouldn't either. That is why RF lost his speed force and gideon states something like this "your latest time jump against the flash caused a massive drain on your powers, your ability to move at superspeed as well as travel in time has been completely depleted". The only valid reason for this is that Eobard Thawne never became the RF as there wasnt any Flash either. After observing certain episodes and facts I think RF in S1 used some kind of device to give him speed like his wheelchair. His device which charged him like a battery as mentioned by Cisco did give him super speed but he wasn't connected to the speed force. That is why the tachyon device that he stole (later he used that to create quantum splicer) didn't work on him. And most importantly that is why he needed the Flash to go home because without the speed force connections he can't travel in time else he should have gone himself on his own because he was faster than the flash, so if the flash could he could do it too. Without the speed force he was forced to use the time sphere to even try going back to his time. This sums up that he didn't have the speed Force in his systems. Other versions of him.. like the one in the Flashpoint episode, the one who was supposed to kill Nora in the new timeline could easily travel in time as shown in that episode as well as Legends of Tomorrow S2.

Milton Moton Zoom has proven faster than Jay by defeating him and capturing him and faster than Jesse because her max was said to be Mach 3 while Zoom got well above Mach 13. He could potentially be higher than Savitar since he caught Season 5 Barry in the 100th episode.

the kid flash talked about is of the flashpoint timeline. the main kid flash is much faster as he has been taught by the flash and should be neck to neck with jesse. also in flashtime, jessy, jay and flash were at the sane speed bcoz of the flashs powers. they could stay longer than other non speedsters bcoz they are used to fast speeds. this is why jay should be much lower

He didn't gain any speed from taking Barry's speed 😂 barry ended up being faster than him at the end of season 2, it just mad him healthy, and he could always open breaches

@@SoggyMann zoom actually beat flash in the race and opened the breach. Flash just won the fist fight. And it was only after he got distracted. The second flash turned the machine off which distracted zoom. And he did get faster because when flash was using the tachyon enhancer, zoom couldn’t catch Barry. But in the finale, flash couldn’t catch zoom to stop him.

@@SoggyMann long story short. Zoom was unable to catch Barry using the tachyon enhancer in “versus zoom”. But in the finale “race of his life” zoom was able to outrun Barry and start his multiverse breach machine. He only lost after Barry cheated by creating a time remenant. Second flash has to die to save the day.

well to be fair, the only reason Black Flash caught him, was because he got to cocky. and thought he could bring in multiple Reverse Flashes to take out the Legends. But Sara had the Spear of Destiny and changed reality and released him, so then he killed Eobard. The rest of the show Eobard was kinda making a fool out of him because he was able to outrun him most of the time. lol

Unless you meant like while they were both physically running, while Black Flash was like right beside him or behind him within arms reach the whole time, then he didnt do that. Only Wally West from the comics and Black Flash were actually in a race, Wally literally outran him when he was right behind him and he couldnt catch up. But as far as outrunning him to where he didnt catch him, (without some kind of help. If you wanna be technical about it, he kinda did outrun him for a bit. In the show, Thawne never wouldve been caught because he had a device to let him know when he was near, and outran him most of the time before he got close enough, and was able to keep his distance to where he could trap him, and create his own reality with the Spear.

Does no one remember when HR trained kid flash and he endend up faster than Barry and they were super hype and XS is as fast as iris who is tab bit slower than the jesse who is a little slower than flash and jay is old so he is beginning to lose his speed zoom is faster than all of the good speedsters but a little slower than savitar because they both have blue lightning and reverse flash majors in manipulating the speed force and people

It seems like Oliver Queen the flash would be the same speed as Barry was at the time. Wally and Jesse should both be a little faster than Barry was at the start of season 3 since we know both of their rates of change was a little higher than Barry’s and reverse flash is roughly the same speed as Barry and Black Flash is faster than Barry and Thawne and XS and Savitar don’t count bc they were both erased from history and zoom became black flash.

Maybe the reason the Flash and the Reverse Flash are always the same speed is because the negative speedforce is mirroring Barry's speed gain from the real speedforce to Thawne's speed

I feel like the Reverse Flash is just better as a speedster. He has so much knowledge of the speed force and its abilities that it’s almost ridiculous in comparison. As seen in season 5s finale where he literally split himself in half. He wasn’t using a speed mirage nor a time remnant.

in the comics young eobard thawn used future barrys suit and removed the speed force from it and to him self. when past barry went to the futre to fight a bad guy , thawn helped him (remember older thawane said he wanted to be the flash). when that bad guy killed thawns mom and dad along with other people, he blamed it on barry. when he left he told e that he is evi later on and left. thawne tried to follow him but met zoom from earth two, zoom took him and put him in a cell with some other guy. thwane then used tht thing where he swaps bodies with the other person giving hem self he looks of the current reverse flash. when zoom came back he opend the cell and killed the guy who looked like the young thwane but isn't. (he also stole the look of zooms suit with the black bottom)its an epic chase with zoom and eobard. (do you remember when thawn skided in to the time of barry (S1)and he asked gidden when the hell was he??? that was when he was ecaping fom zoom.) but durring the battle his speed was slowing so he couldn't get back to his timeline (OOF) so he needed to make the flash. 14 years later the particle exploratory blaw blaw blaw lighting blaw blaw. THIS IS TRUE BTW!!
